Autumn's eyes snap shut, her shaky left hand swiftly shoots towards her chest and almost feverishly clutches around the worn out but oddly elegant looking iron locket with a foggy, red gemstone in the middle - in another life the piece would have doubtlessly been stunning to witness, though now it's but a shadow of its former self, merely hinting at the beauty time mercilessly eroded.
The pendant hangs around the woman's neck on a thick, old but still rather sturdy looking metal chain, her thin hand clutches around the necklace, hard enough to turn her sharp delicate knuckles a ghostly white.
"It's the little things that so often remind us of who we truly are when we so foolishly lose our way, a cheap, seemingly meaningless gift, a kind word in the time of need - or a moment of heartfelt silence, a warm embrace when my very bones felt like ice - it can keep one sane, kept me from taking the wrong turn and ending up in a ditch like so many of the less fortunate already have."

Luci can deepen her own shadow aided by the mechanism that allows objects to sink inside of her own stash.
