Charlie invokes the secret language of the beast, and uses a combination of audible sounds, sub-sonic communication and body language to communicate unto a creature how it would with another of its species.

Due to spiraling mutations and the recent information that had come to light about the actions of Genwyld, Charlie had stopped taking her pills that were supplied after every contract. And yet, when this almost drove her to retirement, someone happened that nobody expected. Voices from the trees, the birdsong itself was made language to her, as vulgar as they were. The animal sounds made while fully transformed? Those were understandable as well. Every noise by every beast were now a language she could hear if she took the time to listen.

You gain the following benefits at all times.

You may understand and communicate to humans as if you are fluent in a relevant language.

  • The target of "human" refers to any target that speaks a human language.

Being a writer sucks. Pushing deadlines, the vultures of media, the pressure of expectations. So, to make things easier, the writer pretends everyone around them is a character, that if forced/written enough, will help them.

Exert your Mind and spend one minute. You must use up a pen's worth of ink and paper in order to activate this Effect.

You may understand and communicate to humans and Sapient beings as if you are fluent in a relevant language for the next hour.

This also includes understanding any recorded communications from the relevant targets, including writings, scent trails, etc.

While active, you may choose to use glib tongue. When you do, anything you say (even gibberish) will be exactly what the target wants to hear. You gain no understanding of what that might be.

  • The target of "human" refers to any target that speaks a human language.
  • When reading written communications, you get no information beyond what the writer was intending to communicate.

Exert your Mind and spend one minute. You must actively and obviously use an inhaler to activate this Effect.

You may understand and communicate to humans and Sapient beings as if you are fluent in a relevant language for the next hour.

This also includes understanding any recorded communications from the relevant targets, including writings, scent trails, etc.

Whenever you encounter a Language you could commune in with this Effect, you immediately understand which language it is, the dialect, region, and other details about it.

If you use this Effect to spend an hour speaking with a native speaker of a human language you don't know, you may Exert your Mind and roll Intellect + Culture Difficulty 7. With Outcome 4 or higher, you permanently learn that language and accent.

You may only use this Effect once per day.

  • The target of "human" refers to any target that speaks a human language.
  • When reading written communications, you get no information beyond what the writer was intending to communicate.

Expend a point of Battery and spend an Action. Select a Sapient being, human, Creature, or Dead target within 50 feet. Dead targets must have died within the past week, and you must have their remains in your possession.

The target can communicate in your language for the next 30 seconds.

You may only use this Effect once per target per day.

  • Communing with creatures does not grant them intellect but does allow you to converse with them.
  • The target of "human" refers to any target that speaks a human language.
  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
  • Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.

Voice sounds similar to those he's just been talking to, like a sapient parrot.

Johnny can only communicate to English speaking humans and other caracaras, all other animals are off limits.
