Edgar bites into flesh or bone, typically devouring the heart, tongue, eyes, & brain in the first sitting. Memories flood the ghoul, causing his eyes to flicker - occasionally, these cast-off memories can be coalesced enough to re-create a fragment of the person's personality - this is an unpleasant fate, as the victim essentially becomes a powerless voice in the mind of the ravenous Ghoul for the duration. Only Edgar can hear this personality fragment, though he can converse with it if desired, effectively talking to himself.
Once consumed, the Ghoul can summon up these voices from the past any time thereafter, the memories lying otherwise dormant.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Dead target within 50 feet. For dead targets, you must possess their flesh, having eaten a portion of them in the past.
The target can communicate in your language for the next hour.
You may only use this Effect once per target per day.

"Most people know Offr.com as the home of the gig economy: a website where you can find a buyer for your old couch, and a worker to haul it away. It’s the home of everything from marketplace goods and bespoke commissions to task fulfillment and transportation services. Some whisper about less-than-legal deals being available on a 'dark web' version of Offr.com. The company denies these claims."
Sooner or later, all Contractors receive an invitation to join Offr Red, the secret membership tier. Offr Red members gain access to exclusive high-confidence, anonymous services. They can sell extraordinary items to Offr or put them up for auction for other Offr Red members to bid on. Crafty Contractors rejoice!
On rare occasions, Offr can even make deals to tie up pesky Loose Ends. However, they always demand a special favor in return.

Dead Souls
The user writes the name and surname of their target within their journal before drawing a large X over it, the moment the X is created the shadow of the user detaches and becomes an image of the deceased, resembling their moment at the time of their death with all injuries present, their form is mostly amorphous and constantly swirling in darkness. When the time elapses the target disappears and the shadow returns to the user with the x over the name being removed.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. Select a Dead target within arm's reach. In order to target the Dead, you must have their true name. You must actively and obviously use A leather journal to activate this Effect.
The target can communicate in your language for the next ten minutes.

Tongue Speaking
"Grant me the ability to speak to the unspoken to"
People observe the conversation as if it was between people however they only hear normal animal noises coming from the animal I'm speaking to.

- Communing with creatures does not grant them intellect but does allow you to converse with them.
- You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
Death Speak
Speak to the dead!
Frankie channels the spirit. Their features warp to mimic the ghost's face and body. Their movements become stiff and jerky, making cracking noises. Their hair stands on end, and their jaw opens up beyond normal human capabilities, and a bright, ghostly light gleams from within.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Dead target within arm's reach. For dead targets, you must possess their True Name.
The target can communicate in your language for the next hour.
Communicating with a being cannot directly damage your Mind or cause Injury. All rolls to resist Effects that rely on communicating with you are made at -1 Difficulty.
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation will almost certainly be disturbed to see you channel the ghost as your hair stands on end, you make cracking noises, your movements turn jerky, and your appearance changes to match the ghost.
- When narrating disturbing content, be cognizant of your group's tone and accommodating to those who would like to "fast forward" through the description.
- You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
- Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.
Mouth of Madness
“Even the dead need someone to talk to…”
Isaac is able to communicate to those who don’t have a voice, nor life. When used, his tongue morphs into a long maw belonging to another being of unknown origin, it beckons the undead to awaken so that he may speak with them.
This knowledge of this gift instructed him to perform a ritual involving cutting open his tongue and pouring an unknown black liquid on the wounds.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Dead target within 50 feet. For dead targets, you must possess their belonging.
The target can communicate in your language for the next hour.
While active, you may choose to use glib tongue. When you do, anything you say (even gibberish) will be exactly what the target wants to hear. You gain no understanding of what that might be.
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation will almost certainly be disturbed to see seeing your tongue turn into a green tentacle with a mouth on the end come out of your mouth.

Humble Steps
Selia spends time creating a domain of communion. Within the zone no signs of life are visible as the color becomes muted and sound becomes dim. Reciting an old Italian ritual and presenting the Fetter Selia then hones in to the emotions of the spirit and uses it to create a verbal link between realms, letting the deceased talk to her.
Exert your Mind and spend one minute to activate. Select a Dead target of which you have A Fetter belonging to the target. (An object or person that the spirit is emotionally charged towards).

You gain the following benefits at all times.
You may understand and communicate to terrestrial animal as if you are fluent in a relevant language.

Death Speak
They want to speak, but their mouths are too dry.
The Necromancer spits into the mouth of a recently deceased corpse. For the few minutes, the corpse's head comes back to life and speaks to the Necromancer.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Dead target within arm's reach. Dead targets must have died within the past week, and you must have their remains in your possession.
The target can communicate in your language for the next hour.
