Nomie calls out to the Fae on your shoulder. She makes an interesting case.
Play the game, or fucking die.
The Gnome calls back - ~~yoo-hoo~~!
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Living target within 45 feet. Roll Charisma + Influence Difficulty 6. The target may contest by rolling Body, Difficulty 6.
If the Contested Outcome is positive, the target takes that much Damage plus 8. The target's material Armor is completely ignored.
When you die, you may activate this Effect targeting the person that killed you at any range and without any penalty. Its roll is at -1 Difficulty.
When you activate this Effect, instead of occurring immediately, you may choose to delay its effects until the target takes a particular Action. For example: "when they fire a gun" or "when they swim in deep water."
Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: WILL OF THE GNOMES.
The arm of this one has been completely replaced with wood, twisted and knotted, weaving together like muscles, covered in patches moss and white mushrooms.
The arm's circulatory system has been replaced with roots that extend into the blood vessels in the left shoulder and take the needed nutrients from the bloodstream. A side effect of this is the darkening of the blood in the rest of the body as tannins are added into it resulting in a dark reddish brown color. The nervous system has been replaced with a mycelium which fuses with the nervous system in the shoulder and allows the arm to be controlled as normal. The flesh and skin are no more having completely turned to wood and the bone has been replaced with oaken heartwood and covered in patches of green moss and white mushrooms.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
You are permanently and visibly transformed: Wooden Left Arm. You are considered to be a Sapient, Living being when targeted..
You may make a +2 Weapon Damage Unarmed attack without additional equipment.
As Bryan folds the paper in his form, so too does any paper surface around him-- sculpting, bending, and morphing in the same way his paper is folded. The creation of a shape requires him to carefully fold the paper into the desired design, which cause strands of the paper to supernaturally extend and weave themselves together to create the surface.
Exert your Mind (unless you are Sculpting) and spend an Action. Select a Location within 50 feet. This Effect cannot be used unless you are in your Amorphous Transformation. You must actively and obviously use folding paper to activate this Effect.
Select one of the following alterations to create out of paper originating at the target:
The alteration begins to form when you activate this Effect and finishes forming on your initiative in the next Round. Until it finishes forming, it is not guaranteed to function.
This alteration lasts indefinitely but may be prematurely destroyed or altered. Your alterations may be broken through with appropriate tools. Anyone attempting to break through must roll Brawn + a relevant Ability. A cumulative Outcome of 12 across all attempts breaks a hole large enough to move through. See the extended system text for GM guidance on various tools.
You may sculpt your walls, domes, or tunnels as you create them, without any additional activation time or cost.
Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Delusions of Grandeur: As one of the world's greatest minds and greatest artists, you believe yourself to be the very best, superior to anyone else you meet. You must succeed a Self-Control roll in order to believe something or take an action which contradicts this delusion and Opportunist: You are always looking for opportunities to gain more status, power, fame, etc. Whenever you are offered a considerable reward for your work, you must succeed a Self-Control roll in order to resist accepting or trusting the offerer.
Bankstons Werewolf Condition has advanced creeping further into his life. While wounded his body recovers at an extradentary rate leaving the patched over parts a bit more hairy then it was before.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
Any Injury you receive from a source other than Silver heals quickly, reducing its Severity by one level each hour. Any Injuries you receive while this Effect is active do not deteriorate over time. However, any Battle Scars caused by such an Injury will remain unless it is Properly Stabilized as normal.
As long as at least half your body remains intact, you cannot die and remain at Incapacitated, regardless of how many Injuries you take. It is clear to observers that you are still alive.
Once an Injury has been reduced in Severity by two levels, it no longer benefits from this effect and instead heals as normal.
Injuries you receive from Silver are increased in Severity by 1.
Benny's canines are viciously sharp and have a hollow tubular center, allowing him to thoroughly drain a person of blood should he get ahold of one. Those who he bites will find themselves unable to cry out as he feeds on them.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are biting and you are engaged in unarmed combat.
Your unarmed attacks deal +4 Bonus Damage (instead of -2). The target's Armor is reduced to 1/2, rounded up against this damage. You may React to and Defend against firearms and other projectile attacks.
You also gain the following effects:
A visor covers their face, looking like a rave mask, but including a full mouth inside, the mask can open up to eat, this is likely uncanny to most. other mechanical parts are present but cannot be scene with current form.
Can attach tail to their back as well, but that is currently removed so they can blend in.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
You are permanently and visibly transformed: Semi-mechanical. You are considered to be a Sapient, Living Computer when targeted. Your Perception is increased by 1 and your Intellect is increased by 1.
You no longer age naturally, and supernatural attempts to age you fail.
The aquamancer has internal reserves of water that they may call upon when needed, and it will gush out of the pores in their skin wherever it is directed.
Spend a Quick Action.
You may withdraw an item from your stash, or add an item that is within arm’s reach to your stash. You may only stash targets which are in your possession, grappled, or otherwise controlled by you.
You may store units of water in your stash, each no larger than something which could fit inside a briefcase (15 liters), and you may store up to 3 things at a time.
You may choose to equip any equipment you withdraw at no additional cost.
The detective can flash their badge and bark out orders to a person or a crowd, and the target will have trouble ignoring their command.
Exert your Mind and spend at least one Action. All Sapient targets within 20 feet of you are affected. You must actively and obviously use a police badge to activate this Effect. Your target cannot be engaged in Combat. Communicate a command to your targets. Roll Charisma + Influence at Difficulty 6. Any affected targets may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 7.
If the contested Outcome is positive, your targets will be compelled to follow your command to the letter-- but not necessarily the spirit-- of the command until they have completed it or for your Outcome in minutes. You cannot issue another suggestion to the target until 10 minutes after they have completed the first command or 10 minutes after a failure.
The target is unaware that they are under supernatural influence and feel they are acting of their own free will. If you fail, they realize that you were attempting to influence them supernaturally with your command.
Your command can be an order to take an immediate Action. You cannot order a target to "do nothing," and they are free to take other Actions as they fulfill your request. Your command cannot be obviously self-destructive. Commands may force a target to violate one of their Limits, and they will need to make a Trauma roll once the suggestion wears off.
The aquamancer shifts into their elemental form and melds into a nearby collection of water, only to reform shortly out of a different source of water within line of sight.
Exert your Mind and spend 2 Actions. Select a Location within your line of sight , and which is directly adjacent to water. You must be within arm's reach of water to activate this Effect.
You are transported directly to the chosen Location. You must wait an hour before activating this effect again.
The Soldier has spent a healthy ten thousand hours training with the weapons of their military. They are deadly when wielding any firearm made in their home country. Drawing their standard issue at the start of a confrontation is pure reflex, and they may plan their shots to deal collateral damage to those behind their target.
You gain the following benefits as long as engaged in combat with firearms made in your home country.
+2 dice to all firearms made in your home country rolls.
You also gain the following effects:
The Vampire may channel their inner beast and take the form of an animal. It is said they may transform into either a wolf or a bat. If used too often, the Vampire risks losing themselves to their beast forever.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means.
You transform into a vampire bat or a wolf until you transform into something else or choose to return to your original form. See the Extended System text for stats.
While transformed, you cannot use any equipment (including Artifacts and Consumables), and you do not have access to any of your Powers. Any equipment you are wearing transforms with you.
Injuries and Wound Level are carried over between forms. However, transforming can never kill you; you merely remain Incapacitated until your Injuries are sufficiently healed.
Possession of this Power grants the following Battle Scar: A disfigured face with bat-like ears.
