You gain the following benefits at all times.
You are permanently and visibly transformed: neanderthal. You are considered to be a Sapient, Living being when targeted. Your Brawn is increased by 1 and your Dexterity is increased by 1.
You no longer age naturally, and supernatural attempts to age you fail.
Possession of this Power grants the following Battle Scar: Disfigured.
You cannot speak any coherent verbal language and must resort to other means of communication.
The Witch can access various important details about a person simply by engaging in a short conversation with them for a minute or so, knowing their name (if they are a person) and asking a specific trigger question
Exert your Mind (unless When used on people, i must know their name for it to take effect) and spend at least two Actions performing the following ritual: I must use the phrase "Would you mind telling me a secret?" to activate. Select a Sapient target within arm's reach. You must continuously interact with the individual in question in order to gather any information. You must maintain Concentration while activating this Effect, and it fails if you are interrupted. At the end of your investigation, roll Charisma + Influence at Difficulty 6. The target resists by rolling Mind at Difficulty 7.

Any information you gather is spoken aloud in conversation and made publicly available.

You gain the following benefits at all times.
Any Injury you receive heals quickly, reducing its Severity by one level every 6 hours. Any Injuries you receive while this Effect is active do not deteriorate over time. However, any Battle Scars caused by such an Injury will remain unless it is Properly Stabilized as normal.
You may Exert your Mind and spend an Action to reduce the Severity of one of your Injuries by 2. Does not affect Injuries suffered as an activation cost for Effects.
Possession of this Power grants the following Battle Scar: Disfigured.

After all no matter what kind of unspeakable twisted mangled horror you're facing, the person standing right next to you might be just as bad, if not worse.
This constant vigilance, bordering on paranoia has saved his skin more than once, and is the sole reason he's not pushing daisies quite yet.
You gain the following benefits as long as you have your Sharp grey eyes.
Your Perception rating is increased by 1. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Perception (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).
Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Emerald eyes.
If you are witnessed actively using this Effect, whoever sees it can make a Perception + Alertness roll at Difficulty 6. A complete success reveals the source of your power.
You also gain the following effects:
your ancestors resorted to cannibalism during a blizzard in order to stay alive, some of the curse of the wendigo has been passed down to you and you can call upon its power to transform into a horrifying beast
you grow to a height of 8'0, your skin becomes pale and stretched and your figure becomes lanky and gaunt, the antlers on your head grow into great branches and a deer like skull obscures your face
Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate.
You transform into a wendigo until you transform into something else or choose to return to your original form. You cannot transform into a flying creature. See the Extended System text for stats.
While transformed, you cannot use any equipment (including Artifacts and Consumables), and you cannot use your Active, Direct, or Trap Powers. However, you can use your Passive Powers. Any equipment you are wearing transforms with you.
Injuries and Wound Level are carried over between forms. However, transforming can never kill you; you merely remain Incapacitated until your Injuries are sufficiently healed.
While transformed, you are obviously unusual, unnatural, or alien, and the average person will take a special interest in you.
Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Cannibalism.
Alexei's spent his career wrestling, and he'd gotten good. His fighting only continued when he went into prison, and again when he started his career as a contractor. Now he's finally learned not to let the pain get to him.
Exert your Mind (unless you win a coin flip) and spend an Action to activate.
Your Body Penalty is reduced to 0. Lasts for one hour. Does not reduce Mind Penalty.
Any successful musician knows the value of a good roadie. The musician calls for a roadie, and one will promptly arrive. The roadie doesn't talk much, and they aren't too bright, but they can sure haul gear.
After a couple hours of work, the roadie will retire to smoke and get some sleep.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action.
Summon a single roadie at your location. They will last for two hours, or until they are destroyed. They are controlled by the GM but will follow any commands you give. You may have at most 1 minion active at a time.
You may only use this Effect once per day.
The witch knows bad things happen to bad people. By bringing attention to a karmic imbalance, she can hurry it along, causing her target's bad luck to catch up with them. The target finds themselves suffering injuries due to freakishly bad luck until they cleanse themselves or perish.
Exert your Mind and spend one minute. Select a Living target within 20 feet. This Effect cannot be used unless the target deserves it. Roll Charisma + Occult at Difficulty 6. Your target may resist by rolling Body at Difficulty 7.
If you succeed, the target is afflicted with a Condition that causes one of the following symptoms:
The affliction is not treatable by modern medicine. It may be diagnosed by rolling Intellect + Occult at Difficulty 6, and can be cured by bathing fully in clear running water.
This Effect is not obvious, and the only sign you are using an Effect is you staring at the target, speaking calmly. If someone suspects that an Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.
The detective squints, drawing on years of police experience to find any hidden drugs, weapons, or other illegal objects, no matter how well-hidden.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action.
You automatically detect all illegal materials within 50 feet of you for the next hour. You have a clear sense of both the distance and direction towards any detected items. You do not learn any details about the detected items.
The beastmaster can speak to and understand any animal.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
You may understand and communicate to terrestrial animal as if you are fluent in a relevant language.
The mystic can meld their aura with another, allowing them to superimpose their being, physical and mental, into a target. Observers witness the mystic fading and entering their target's body as wisps of smoke, leaving no trace of their own body behind.
While inside, they can control their target's actions. Affected targets have no memory of the experience.
Take a Severity-1 Injury and spend an Action. Select a Living or Sapient target within arm's reach. Roll Intellect + Occult at Difficulty 6. The target may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, you possess your target for a number of minutes equal to the Contested Outcome. The target has no control over their body or actions, and they are functionally unconscious through the entire possession, retaining no memory other than any Traumas they might obtain.
You do not leave your original body behind when you possess a target. When a possession ends, your original body will reappear at the host body’s same location. You may spend an Action to end the possession early.
Stats: During the possession, you use the host body’s Body rating, but your own Mind rating. Any rolls you make use the host body’s Brawn, Dexterity, and Perception but your own Charisma, Intellect, and Abilities. You gain the effects of any physical Assets and Liabilities they have. You cannot read the target’s mind or memories.
Gifts: You have access to and can use any of your own Powers which are not intrinsic to your biology or physical body. You cannot access any Powers or other supernatural effects which the target has, unless they are intrinsic to the target’s biology or physical body.
Death: If the host body is killed or destroyed while you are still possessing it, you will die along with it.
Eviction: If you attempt to force your host to take actions which would violate one of their Limits or their instinct for self-preservation, they may resist by rolling Mind. If their Outcome is higher than or equal to the contested Outcome, the possession ends and you are evicted from their body. Otherwise, they may Exert their Mind to evict you from their body.
