Description

Abu Znood lashes out with his belt at the target using it as a whip, the whip glows with bright yellow light as it wraps around the enemy and causes the enemy's mind to be disrupted.

System

Choose an Animate target within 45 feet, spend an Action, Exert your Mind, and roll Brawn + Melee Difficulty 6, contested by the target rolling to dodge or Defend (as for an attack with a thrown weapon) as a Reaction. If you succeed, they take a dice penalty equal to your Outcome for 2 rounds. Affected targets cannot Concentrate.

If their total dice penalty from all sources exceeds their Mind, they are instead stunned for 2 rounds and cannot act.

Enhancements

  • Battery-operated (Instead of Exerting Mind to activate this Power, it has its own 3-point Source pool. The Source regenerates at the rate of one point per day and cannot be raised with Experience.)

Drawbacks

  • Focus (Using this Effect requires a specific kind of item.)
