His eyes pierce through total darkness, his fingers can discern the finest details of any texture, and his ears capture every subtle sound, instantly tracing its source. Nothing can escape his senses, whether hidden in shadow, buried deep, or moving in the distance.

Your senses are enhanced in the following way.

  • Sight: You can see perfectly in dark and even pitch-black environments. You suffer no dice penalty due to darkness.
  • Touch: You can identify any material with a touch and immediately find what you are looking for when rummaging, assuming it is actually present. You may withdraw items from your bags with a Quick Action instead of an Action.
  • Hearing: You automatically know the origin location of any sound you hear, and you can tell which Action caused the sound.

  • “Rummaging" means digging through trash, finding a needle in a haystack, etc.

Community Heightened Senses Gifts

These cookies do have a taste- it simply happens to be... nothing. The absence of intensity. It is a cultivated emptiness, like the negative space in a painting- deliberate, guiding the mind and senses to the things all around the cookie. They are bland, mildly pleasant in no identifiable way. Additionally, they do not trigger any known allergies or food sensitivities- whatever they are, they're gluten free and hypoallergenic.

Your senses are enhanced in the following way. Lasts for three hours.

  • Smell: Your nose is highly sensitive and can differentiate between scents the way a dog can, as well as recognize things you have smelled before.
  • Taste: You can recognize any flavor you have previously tasted and name it, and may determine the composition of something based on its taste.

Any senses which have been heightened cannot be overloaded. Battle Scars you receive cannot affect these senses.

  • Examples of overloading a sense include: an explosion causing temporary deafness, a bright light causing blindness, a sedative causing numbness, etc.
  • This consumable is destroyed when used and cannot be used again.

You gain the following benefits at all times. You must actively and obviously be using black cat mask to gain the benefits of this Effect.

Your senses are enhanced in the following way.

  • Hearing: You are capable of perceiving physical shapes via sound. You must produce a meow to “ping” with your echolocation each Round you wish to use it.
  • Hearing: You may hear sounds of sub- and hyper-sonic frequencies, allowing you to hear tiny things (mice, insects, etc) better, and pick up on the vibrations of massive things (earthquakes, atmospheric disruptions, etc) long before others.
  • Hearing: You automatically know the origin location of any sound you hear, and you can tell which Action caused the sound.

Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Overload: Your senses are easy to overload. When presented with a loud noise, flash of bright light or other great sensory stimulus, you must succeed on a Self-Control roll or shut down.

Asha finds that she now has the ability to smell things she'd never had the ability to notice before. Her nose is much stronger and the world around her is suddenly much, much more vibrant...at least when it comes to scent. She also finds that the night time is much, much easier to traverse now with her dark vision. These newfound abilities are hard to get used to but it comes with its bonuses too. She's experiencing the world like she never has before and is one step closer to her ultimate goal.

  • Your microscopic vision requires a close look at a very small, specific area to use. It does not grant increased distance vision, it simply provides a higher resolution, allowing you to see finer and finer detail.
