Thread-Tongue Whisper
Sally cradles the poppet in her hands, stitched from old cloth and stained with meaning. With a whispered chant and the prick of a needle through its heart, the message is loosed—not from her lips, but from her spirit. Wherever the target may be, they feel a shiver, as if watched by something unseen. The Loa carry her words on spirit winds, but the veil is thin. Anyone near might hear. Anyone close might listen.
Spend an Action. Select a target any distance away from you. You must have a specific target in mind, but you require only an intuitive understanding of them, such as their name, face, or Location. You must actively and obviously use Poppet to activate this Effect.
You may send a single message to your target. It can be as complex or as large as you like.
The message may be intercepted while in transit, and may be overheard, read, or otherwise understood by anyone near either you or the recipient. You must share a common language for your target to understand the message.
This Gift cannot have more than 3 Drawbacks, and its Gift Cost is capped at 2.
- Depending on the length of your message, it may take a target some time and/or effort to understand it in its entirety.
- Receiving a message does not force a target to pay attention to you, and they can feel free to ignore your message if they choose. Depending on the flavor of your Gift, they may or may not be able to return to it and read it later on.

Gen-Wyld: Beyond Natural
On March 14, 2018, a little-known company named Gen-Wyld announced FDA approval for a groundbreaking procedure to enhance a patient’s primary and secondary sexual characteristics using gene therapy. The company was an overnight success.
Shortly thereafter, they introduced a suite of gene-altering body modification procedures that allowed patients to make dramatic aesthetic changes to their bodies by gene-splicing “non-human” anatomy. Those daring (and wealthy) enough can now add cuttlefish pigmentation to their skin, sport a pair of fox ears, and even add a functional tail. While rare, these so-called “modders” draw plenty of hate from conservative communities.
Thanks to their revolutionary procedures, Gen-Wyld is now a household name. Norman Carlson, Gen-Wyld’s chief evangelist, recently announced the company is in the trial phase for a groundbreaking treatment for diabetes.
Yet despite their success, a shroud of secrecy surrounds Gen-Wyld. Their no-patent policy obscures the secrets of their procedures from the public eye. Financial experts claim that Gen-Wyld is run less like a traditional business and more like an NGO with some specific, unknown objective.
Some claim that they will not stop until humanity has been reduced to monstrous slaves and that Gen-Wyld’s board of directors will install themselves as inhuman overlords of the new world order.
However, until the true secrets behind Gen-Wyld are discovered, the genetic biotech firm will continue to grow, develop, and progress its grand designs.

Overwatch to Agent Communication
Stan focuses on the blocked ear, and opens a telepathic line of communication between another person he knows with a blocked ear. The voices project through with a bit of an echo.
Spend an Action. Select a target within 300 feet of you. You must have a specific target in mind, but you require only an intuitive understanding of them, such as their name, face, or Location. This Effect cannot be used unless one ear must be physically blocked by both ends.

Archangels have the ability to appear to distant mortals and relay messages.
Thanks to the harbingers and some.. clever interpretations, Chamael can appear to a target he is familiar with in a flash of white light, and deliver a message.
The closest analogy, is 'tapping' into the Angels existing abilities and network.
Though the sound the illusion makes is that of Chamael's tongue, it carries with it a temporary understanding of the words spoken. He can't pay good attention around his body while he's having a conversation with someone far away.

While addressing a crowd, the influencer may use coded language to send secret messages to a particular person in the crowd. These messages can't be noticed or understood by anyone but the intended target.

You may send a single message to your target. It can be no more complicated than a multi-page letter or a long email.

This Effect is not obvious, and the only sign you are using an Effect is your left hand making a fist. If someone suspects that an Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.
