Description
With a growl, meep, gibber, or similar; Edgar makes it clear what happens to those who get in his way.
System
Spend an Action, Exert your Mind, and choose an emotion and choose up to 4 targets within 45 feet. The target rolls Mind difficulty 9. Any defense roll with fewer than three successes causes a partial emotional shift but demands no unusual action. Failure forces the target to do something they otherwise wouldn't have done, inspired by the chosen emotion. The action they take will be extreme & unusual compared to their character and the way they tend to deal with strong emotions. The emotion shift lasts 1 Hour, and during that time, they are very unlikely to change their mind about their action.
Combat ends the effect, even if the target started it. If attempting to calm during combat, effect ends if target is attacked.
This effect can only inspire Fear/Horror

Chain of Screaming
(Your target passes the effect on to the next person they interact with, so long as that person meets any casting requirements. That person passes it on as well, and so on, with the duration decreasing by 1 level until the chain stops at 0 duration.)

(The defensive Mind roll suffers a -3 dice penalty.)

(The defensive Mind roll is Difficulty 9.)

(Affected targets will take extreme and often out of character actions inspired by the chosen emotion. They also display the emotion obviously.)

(If the target fails or botches their defensive roll, they gain a Trauma, which must be related to the chosen emotion in some way.)

(Possessing this Power causes a mutation that elicits a strong, negative social response from the average person in your setting. The mutation is visible even if you are wearing long sleeves, pants, and shoes. Maximum one per Contractor.)
