    With a little touch of mania, and a little request for power beyond the standard pale from a harbinger with a sense of humor. Dominic has gained access to a new function thanks to a new lobe inside his brain that with the help of any device with a touch screen he may edit the world around him with a simple flick of his wrist he can edit the people who find themselves within it's sights. Childishly malicious as Dominic is, such alterations are also never helpful. Though the energy that facilitates such changes fades and thus things tend to revert in about a month once afflicted.


    Exert your Mind and Spend an Action to activate. Select a Living or Animate target within 20 feet. You must actively and obviously use A touch screen device to activate this Effect. Roll Intellect + Technology at Difficulty 6. The target may roll Body, -2 dice at Difficulty 7, as a Free Action to resist.

    If you succeed, the target receives a new Battle Scar of your choosing, limited by the contested Outcome:

    1. A Minor Battle Scar E.g. an aesthetic-only body modification (a disfigured face, a pig's tail), impacted hand or foot, or vocal changes that complicate communication
    2. A Major Battle Scar E.g. a disabled/removed hand or foot, an inability to speak, an impacted major sense, removal of a minor sense, impacted movement.
    3. A Severe Battle Scar E.g. a disabled/removed arm or leg, deafness, aesthetic changes that are nearly impossible to conceal.
    4. An Extreme Battle Scar E.g. removal/disabling both hands or both legs, blindness, a full-body deformation that leaves the target humanoid but makes it difficult to use clothes, vehicles, and equipment designed for humans.

    All alterations you make must Must always either expand or shrink an existing body part.

    Your alteration "heals" over the course of the next month, after which it is fully cured.

    • Remember: A Contractor’s Body rating is reduced by 1 for each Battle Scar after their fourth.
    • You may opt to inflict a Battle Scar that is less severe than what your Outcome allows.

    Allowing himself to directly mindlink with the server in his home allows him to think on a level beyond normal people, parallel thought processing independent of anything and everything related to his physical body. Though it does require him to squint with the cybernetic eye in question resulting in a visible telescoping of the iris but hey. Nothing's free.


    You gain the following benefits as long as you have your cybernetic eye.

    Your Intellect rating is increased by 1. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Intellect (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).

    If you are witnessed actively using this Effect, whoever sees it can make a Perception + Alertness roll at Difficulty 6. A complete success reveals the source of your power.

    You also gain the following effects:

    • Multithreaded: Instead of being unable to take Actions while maintaining Concentration, you may now take Actions at a -2 dice penalty.

    • Being Injured or interrupted in some way can still break your Concentration.
    • If your cybernetic eye is damaged, destroyed, or lost, you lose all benefits from this Effect for the next two months, or until you can recover any relevant missing items (which may involve a side-game and requires a GM to approve whatever process is used).

    Waterproof, bulletproof, and as fireproof as anything in it's category can be the hardened reinforced steel laptop weighs in at a hefty 10 lbs, but it delivers performance beyond anything else in it's category. With hardware that makes a supercomputer blush, and a petabyte of ram any system you set this bad boy to cracking will be crying for it's mother by the end of a minute. Combine that with it's built in destroyer protocol and you'll find that the devices it targets are rendered completely unusable!


    Exert your Mind and spend 1 minute to activate. Select a Device within 300 feet. Can be used on Alien technology. You must use up A laptop battery in order to activate this Effect. Roll Intellect + Technology, with the Difficulty set by the GM depending on the security of the system you are hacking. Sapient targets can resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 6. The hacking roll and their defensive roll are both Difficulty 6.

    If you succeed, you may issue a single command to the targeted system. This command must have a specific outcome or be a request for specific login credentials. The command you issue must be within the machine's current capabilities. For example, you cannot order a standard security camera to grow legs and walk around.

    If your command does not require bypassing the security of the target (for example, typing on a computer that is unlocked), you do not need to Exert your Mind to activate this Effect, and activation only takes a single Action.

    Your hack cannot be discovered by system administrators or firewall software for a number of hours equal to your Outcome on the initial roll.

    Possession of this Artifact causes the following Trauma to manifest over the course of a day: Conspiracy Nut: You believe any conspiracy theories told to you.. If you lose possession of this Artifact, the Trauma heals over the course of the next month.

    • When targeting non-computer devices, you may operate switches, buttons, dials, levers, and latches.

    Dominic furiously shouts out the activation phrase Market Crash to his keyboard and it alights, activating several defensive protocols that emerge in the form of a shimmering light blue bubble of force that encapsulates him and the area in his immediate vicinity the barrier crackling and sparking with electricity as the battery unlocks the true potential of lithium. When struck lightning arcs off the barrier as it converts the energy of the attack into a devastating retaliatory bolt ensuring that Dominic is protected from the attack and that his assailant sorely regrets targeting the man who will one day dismantle the Illuminati! Though it does burn the battery out, Dominic needs to be careful about carrying a few replacements. The Deep State loves to strike when you are at your weakest and he couldn't afford to be caught without.


    Exert your Mind and spend an Action or Reaction to activate. You must use up A laptop battery in order to activate this Effect. Roll Intellect + Technology at Difficulty 6.

    If you succeed, you create a Barrier extending out 15 feet from yourself, which absorbs 2 times the next Outcome + 2 Damage. Only applies to attacks which originated outside the 15 foot radius, and protects anyone who is within that radius. Half the damage absorbed is reflected back at the attacker, which they can Defend against as normal. The Damage reduction from the Barrier is applied before Armor, and is treated like Armor by any effects such as Armor Penetration. You may only have 1 active barrier at a time.

    You must maintain Concentration while using this Effect. The Barrier will fall if you are interrupted, or if it absorbs the full amount of damage. When a Barrier falls, you cannot use this Effect again for a minimum of 2 Rounds. As long as it does not fall, the barrier regenerates back to full strength at the end of each Round of combat.

    Possession of this Artifact causes the following Trauma to manifest over the course of a day: Deep State Agent: Must make a self control roll to trust someone with his life or with details about his real identity.. If you lose possession of this Artifact, the Trauma heals over the course of the next month.

    • If you use this Effect as a Reaction to dodge, you still need to make a roll to dodge. The Effect will occur regardless of the Outcome of this roll, but if you fail you will be hit by the relevant attack prior to the Effect occurring.

When activated the cracks and breaks melt gently glowing back into place. These devices disperse no radiation and are extremely stable that the energy stabilizes when the container is broken, so it is completely safe environmentally.


    Exert your Mind and spend 10 minutes to activate. Select a Object within arm's reach that is of any size. Cannot be used on Alien technology. More than half the target object must be present in order to begin repairs. Roll Intellect + Science at Difficulty 6.

    If you succeed, your target is repaired back to a functional state. If you fail, you spend the full time working before realizing you cannot repair the target. If your target only requires fuel or power and is otherwise in working order, this Effect costs no Exertion, and the target is fueled/powered for the next 24 hours.

    After you finish activating this Effect, you cannot move quicker than a walk (max 15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour.

    Possession of this Artifact causes the following Trauma to manifest over the course of a day: a compulsion to protect the environment. If you lose possession of this Artifact, the Trauma heals over the course of the next month.
