Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a target within 10 feet.
You place a ward, which is fixed to a target Object that can be moved and repositioned. You can perceive with all your senses or activate investigative Effects through the ward as though you were standing at its location. You may have at most 3 wards running at once.
The ward requires Concentration to monitor, though it will remain active until you deactivate it. It can be detected with a roll and destroyed through mundane means.
Your Ward records all activity it observes, regardless of whether or not you are actively monitoring it. This recording can be played back and referenced later.
You may communicate through your ward, though doing so will reveal its presence.
After you finish activating this Effect, you cannot move quicker than a walk (max 15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour. Exhaustion’s penalty and duration stacks with multiple activations.
You may only use this Effect once per day.
This bulky sniper rifle has been modified and customized so much to accommodate the great hunters powers, that it no longer resembles it's former mundane self. Extended and sleek, it has been combined with future tech, and even a couple alien bits.
This Artifact can be used as a heavy sniper rifle. It is roughly at least twice as large as a heavy sniper rifle and cannot be concealed on your person or disassembled for storage.
Attack by rolling Dexterity + Firearms, Difficulty 6. Successful attacks deal Contested Outcome +10 Weapon Damage. The target's Armor is completely ignored against this damage.
You also gain the following effects:
...
This Artifact cannot be broken.
This Artifact's creator is always aware of the direction and distance to this Artifact.
The deep red gem at the centre of the necklace releases a cloud of black miasma, which coalesces into the form of a horse, capable of running long distances without tiring, or needing food or water. It can be recalled into the necklace at will.
This Artifact can be used as a Shadow Horse. It is roughly the same size as a Shadow Horse but can be collapsed into a necklace with a deep red gem in the centre and concealed. Collapsing or expanding it costs a Quick Action.
This Shadow Horse has Plate Armour, Saddle, Reins. Any roll to pilot this vehicle receives +2 dice.
You also gain the following effects:
The blood soaked inside the bandages extend, animate, and twist like a set of tendril-like appendages, slamming into the ground and propelling the user forward. When activated mid-air, the bandages instead extend to latch onto whatever surface the user targets and pulls them forward.
Spend an Action or Reaction. Select a Location which is at most 375 feet away horizontally or 75 feet away vertically. If you are using this Effect as a Reaction, you must travel at least 10 feet. You must use up a pint of blood in order to activate this Effect.
You jump to the chosen location. If the landing is precarious, the GM may call for a roll to land safely. You will never take fall damage from successfully landing a jump made with this Effect.
You may opt to trade your free movement for a Super Leap if you are jumping less than 50 feet or if you are closing a gap to an opponent and spend your Action on an attack.
You may activate this Effect while in free-fall, as long as your target Location is a surface on which you can land. You are immune to fall damage.
When you use this Effect as a Reaction to dodge, if you Exert your Mind to activate the Effect, you do not need to roll; your dodge is automatically successful.
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation will almost certainly be disturbed to see blood-soaked bandages twisting and slithering like monstrous tendrils around the user or their target.
The moment the user experiences any pain or discomfort, the bandages wrap around their injuries and constrict like a tourniquet. When they fall unconscious, the bandages constrict even harder to force them awake, puppeteering them if necessary to get them moving.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are wearing this Artifact.
Your Stress from Injuries is divided in half. Does not reduce Stress from Mind Damage.
While Incapacitated, you may Exert your Mind to take a single action.
If you are Stunned, asleep, drugged, or otherwise made unconscious for any reason other than being Incapacitated, you may Exert your Mind to wake up. Any penalty which was caused by this condition is removed.
Any dice penalty from Exposure or being stunned, diseased, sleepy, dizzy, sick, distracted, or similar is reduced to zero. Does not affect penalties from Effects you activated.
When active, the artifact seems to darken from the inside, even in the brightest daylight. When attacked, those shadows lash out and interrupt whatever was attempting to hurt the user.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Roll Intellect + Occult at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, you create a barrier around yourself, which absorbs the next Outcome + 4 Damage. The Damage reduction from the barrier is applied before Armor. This Artifact may only have 1 active barrier at a time.
The barrier will fall after two hours, or if it absorbs the full amount of Damage. When a barrier falls, you cannot use this Effect again for a minimum of 2 Rounds.
Paul pushes up his glasses, causing them to glint if there is a light source nearby. He then moves his hand as if he were using the force, the obviousness of it depending on the weight of the object.
