The user issues a command which resonates to those of their choosing in range. Comic book text bubbles with the command written in ink appear briefly when issued-- which are also able to be used to disrupt actions within range like a physical barrier.
Exert your Mind and spend at least one Action. Select a number of Sapient targets equal to your Charisma within 20 feet. This Effect cannot be used unless you are in your Alternate Form and your command is not understood to be malicious. You must use up a cartridge of ink in order to activate this Effect. Your target may be actively engaged in Combat. Communicate a command to your targets. Roll Charisma + Influence at Difficulty 6. The targets may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 7.
If the contested Outcome is positive, your targets will be compelled to follow your command to their best understanding of the letter and spirit of the command until they have completed it or for your Outcome in hours. You cannot issue another suggestion to the target until 10 minutes after they have completed the first command or 10 minutes after a failure.
The target is unaware that they are under supernatural influence and feel they are acting of their own free will. If you fail, they realize that you were attempting to influence them supernaturally with your command.
Your command can be an order to take an immediate Action, a conditional request, and an abstract goal. You cannot order a target to "do nothing," and they are free to take other Actions as they fulfill your request. Your command cannot be obviously self-destructive. The Effect ends if following your command would cause a target to cross one of their Limits in a way that would necessitate a Trauma roll.
You may activate this Effect as a Reaction to contest any Action a valid target is taking, reducing their Outcome by your own. Your command has no impact beyond disrupting their Action.
Anyone who touches this Artifact will notice it warping their mind and may drop it. If they choose to hold or use it, they immediately receive the following Trauma: Stubborn Determination: A hero never gives up. Whenever you attempt to surrender or flee, you must suceed a Self-Control roll to resist the urge to see things through. If they lose possession of this Artifact, the Trauma heals over the course of the next day.
The user brandishes a purple scale covered pouch containing a dark, powdery substance akin to midnight sand. As they unseal the bag and exposes its contents to the air, the once-ebony powder undergoes an eerie transformation, morphing into a blinding, incandescent white. With a Wind up they slap the blizzard-like unholy substance into there system. The Target is raked with intense demonic visions of pleasures that leave the users traumatized.
Spend an Action and use up this Cocaine zip bag (unless you succeed on 1d10, Difficulty 7). Make a Brawl attack at a Living target within normal attack range. Your target takes a Severity 1 Injury. Your target must make a Trauma roll when you activate this Effect. The target may roll to dodge or defend, as normal for Brawl attacks. The attack does not deal Damage, but the Effect does.
You may cure any Non-Alien diseases, toxins, or poisons afflicting your target even if you have not diagnosed or fully understood it. You may cure diseases or poisons even if they are not treatable through modern medicine. During treatment, the malady you are treating does not progress or cause additional Damage or other effects. Your patient is required to Daily partake in a dose of cocaine and study. for the next month. If they violate this rule, your treatment is immediately reversed.
You may treat Alien maladies and curses. If there is some method to cure them, you learn what it is. If the malady does not provide its own means of curing it, it is cured.
After you finish activating this Effect, you cannot move quicker than a walk (max 15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour. Exhaustion’s penalty and duration stacks with multiple activations.
Bu Fang offers up a nice meal. Using it to lead a conversation, the meal relaxes the targets mind, so much that they start spilling their secrets without knowing. They don't even realize as they chat, Bu Fang leading them on in the conversation.
Edit: Another good power, though the Concealed is broken - you have to pick something that the person would notice as unusual. It has Conversationalist, so you can't double dip by saying the only Tell is "casual conversation." Has been changed to "leading questions" to reflect this.
I should note, that if you got them to eat a meal with the altered Fascinate, you could make this into a kick ass Triggered power. I'm going to re-create it in that effect just to show you - note that the Mind roll would be -2 dice if they were subject to the Fascinate, & nobody eating the food would hear the secrets spoken.
This Effect activates whenever eats a Fascinate meal. It does not require an Action or Exertion. Select a Sapient target within 20 feet. You must use up a Trapped meal in order to activate this Effect. At the end of your investigation, roll Charisma + Influence at Difficulty 6. The target resists by rolling Mind at Difficulty 7.
You learn all the following information about your target:
The quality and specificity of information gained depends on your Outcome.
Any information you gather is dinner conversation and made publicly available.
His saliva seems to be a healing medicine that is capable of mending wounds, restoring body parts, and even correcting broken or missing limbs. He is capable of applying it with a simple lick, swiping his finger on his tongue and applying it, or even a bite or kiss.
-----------------
In Hida, in the Niu River basin, there are legends of three Kamaitachi known as "Wind Gods". The first god would knock down the person, the next god would cut them with a blade, and the third god would put some medicine on it, which is why there is no bleeding or pain. Channeling the powers of the last god he would take a moment to think about less violent acts before applying them in one of a few ways: Via a swab, a lick, a gentle bite, or a kiss.
Much to his chagrin, he holds it for the allotted amount of time or continues to apply it in that time. Eventually, this causes a shivering breeze to run up the target's body and before long, they will feel their disfigurements, scars, or lasting damage erase themselves from their body. Reverting them to their original state.
Exert your Mind and spend a minute. Select a Living target within arm's reach. Select a Battle Scar on your target to treat.

The ring of magical mud shoots up in an orb to block oncoming attacks.
Spend an Action. Select a Animate target within arm's reach. Roll Intellect + Animals at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, you create a barrier around your target, which absorbs the next Outcome + 6 Damage. The Damage reduction from the barrier is applied before Armor. You may have up to 3 barriers active at a time.
The barrier will fall after two hours, or if it absorbs the full amount of Damage. When a barrier falls, you cannot use this Effect again for a minimum of 2 Rounds.
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation will almost certainly be disturbed to see Strange chanting, Mud starts seeping out of user's body..
This Gift's Cost is capped at 2 and cannot be increased further.
Possession of this Artifact causes the following Trauma to manifest over the course of a day: You're Muddy too!: Roll self control to not give someone new you meet a handful of mud.. If you lose possession of this Artifact, the Trauma heals over the course of the next month.
Cassie's phobia of touch combined with his magical condition allows her to force others away.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action or Reaction. Roll Dexterity + Athletics at Difficulty 6. Any Animate targets may resist by rolling Body at Difficulty 7.
Create a repulsion field which extends out 45 feet from you in every direction, and lasts for the next minute. Any Animate targets within the field that failed to resist cannot move any closer towards you. If they were within 45 feet from you when you activated the effect, they are immediately pushed back to the edge of the repulsion field.
You must maintain Concentration during this Effect.
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation will almost certainly be disturbed to see the barrier extends outwards, and it causes excruciating pain to those pushed away by puppeteering their flesh.
The Future Soldier learned to create foam grenades in their own time period, and they still can, kinda. They look like glowing orange capsules with a rugged rubberized grip. When thrown, they burst into a splash of expanding neon orange foam. The foam hardens in seconds, severely hampering the movement of anyone unlucky enough to have been splashed. Those affected may use their hands or weapons to hack away at the foam and free themselves.
Occasionally, the fuses on these bootleg grenades fails, and they go off immediately.
Spend an Action and use up this small metallic grenade with pin (unless you succeed on 1d10, Difficulty 7). Make a thrown attack at a Location within normal attack range. Roll a single D10 as a critical failure check. If you roll a 1, the Effect fails, and you are hit as it activates immediately at your present location. The target may roll to dodge or defend, as normal for thrown attacks. The attack does not deal Damage, but the Effect does.
If you succeed, all affected targets will be restricted at their location by a physical, tangible binding. They can still move their arms and use Effects, but are reduced to ¼ of their movement speed.
The binding around a target must be destroyed in order for them to break free. Breaking the binding requires a total amount of Damage equal to twice the original Contested Outcome. Damage from multiple attacks is cumulative and stacks linearly.
The mystic channels and communes directly with another person's spirit, allowing the two of them to freely exchange both physical and mental wounds between each other.
Exert your Mind and spend a minute. Select a Sapient target within arm's reach. Your target may Resist to cancel the transfer.
You may choose a single instance of one of the following to transfer from your target to yourself, or from yourself to them:
Whenever you transfer an Injury, it's Severity increases by 1. Whenever you transfer Mind damage or Traumas, the recipient takes an additional Mind damage.
After you finish activating this Effect, you cannot move quicker than a walk (max 15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour. Exhaustion’s penalty and duration stacks with multiple activations.

Your target cannot be engaged in Combat. Communicate a command to your targets. Roll Charisma + Influence at Difficulty 6. Any affected targets may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 7.

You cannot issue another suggestion to the target until 10 minutes after they have completed the first command or 10 minutes after a failure.
The target is unaware that they are under supernatural influence and feel they are acting of their own free will. If you fail, they realize that you were attempting to influence them supernaturally with your command.
Your command can be an order to take an immediate Action. You cannot order a target to "do nothing," and they are free to take other Actions as they fulfill your request. Your command cannot be obviously self-destructive. Commands may force a target to violate one of their Limits, and they will need to make a Trauma roll once the suggestion wears off.
The detective can learn a lot by watching someone for a minute. Each subtle detail, every unexplained stain, reveals something about where the target has been. Ocassionally, they'll drop a business card, or explain how to contact them. The detective is listening.
Exert your Mind and spend a minute. Select a Sapient target within 20 feet. This Effect cannot be used unless the target does not know you're watching them. You cannot investigate the same target more than once per hour. At the end of your investigation, roll Charisma + Investigation at Difficulty 6.

This alteration lasts one minute but may be prematurely destroyed or altered. Your alterations may be broken through with appropriate tools. Anyone attempting to break through must roll Brawn + a relevant Ability. A cumulative Outcome of 6 across all attempts breaks a hole large enough to move through. See the extended system text for GM guidance on various tools.
