Exert your Mind and spend 15 minutes to activate. Choose a specific Injury on yourself that has not yet been treated with this Effect and roll Intellect + Occult at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, the Injury is reduced in Severity by your Outcome. If you reduce its Severity to 0, the Injury is fully healed. Otherwise, it is partially healed and will heal the rest of the way at its natural rate.
This counts as a successful Makeshift Stabilization if the Injury was not already Stabilized; any Battle Scars caused by the Injury will remain.
David walks between the tombstones, and as he does, the air gets darker, heavier. He walks in a realm of sand and bone as the sights of the modern world fade away, only graves and the souls of the dead wandering the sands. Following a voice only he can hear (‘find me’), David seeks out one particular tomb among the sprawling sands. When he finds it, he enters inside, and depending on how the voice he can hear reacts, appears either above or below the tomb, either unharmed or buried alive.
To outside observers, this effect appears as a sand crusted bony limb reaching out of the grave or tomb to pull David within it in a whirling rush of sand. At the other targeted grave (or other targeted point if not using Spirit Paths), if all goes well, Vance appears rising from the grave, covered in a light dusting of sand and bone dust.
As David walks a Realm of the Dead, their voices cry out to him. “Find us.” “Find us.” “Gorgonsire, find us”. On the whisper of the wind he can almost hear a Medusa’s dying words, locked in time and sand and wreathed in bone as its head topples from its shoulders.
“Find me”
And yet for now, the echoed voice goes unanswered.
Exert your Mind and spend 1 minute. Select a Location within your line of sight. Roll a single D10 as a critical failure check. If you roll a 1, the Effect fails, and you Buried Alive under chosen travel spot or Grave/Tomb.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a target within arm's reach. This Effect cannot be used unless they got to look at the card and make a prayer and recite backwards/twist scripture backwards on cards. You must use up lifespan depending on illusion in order to activate this Effect. Choose an illusion to generate, which can be no larger than a briefcase.
The chosen illusion is generated at your target, and it will remain in place for the next minute or you choose to end it. It can be perceived by people through their taste, touch, hearing, smell, and sight. The illusion cannot be used as an attack. You cannot make an exact replica of an existing Animate being or Object.
Anyone who struggles against the illusion hard enough to break a window or who would be damaged by the illusion (or who would be able to perceive it significantly through a sense it cannot fool) realizes it is an illusion and can choose to perceive it or not at will.
The illusion will remain fixed to its initial target, and can only change locations if the initial target is mobile in some way. It may have moving parts and engage in simple, predetermined movements but cannot perform anything complex or interactive unless you maintain Concentration and “puppeteer” it.

The musician assumes a powerful stance and strums a mighty power chord on their guitar. A blast of sound waves radiate outwards, destroying all who dare face the power chord directly.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. You must actively and obviously use your instrument to activate this Effect. The area within 25 feet of you immediately and obviously becomes imminently dangerous. Roll Charisma + Performance at Difficulty 6. Targets inside the radius may attempt an appropriate Reaction at GM’s discretion. Finding a physical barrier to use as cover will cut total Damage taken in half (applies after Reaction roll but before Armor).
If the Outcome is positive, your blast hits everything within 25 feet of you with Damage equal to your Outcome + 4. Armor is fully effective against this Damage. If you botched the activation roll, you will also take full Damage from the blast, otherwise it will not hurt you.

If the contested Outcome is positive, your targets will be compelled to follow your command to the letter-- but not necessarily the spirit-- of the command until they have completed it or for your Outcome in minutes. You cannot issue another suggestion to the target until 10 minutes after they have completed the first command or 10 minutes after a failure.
The target is unaware that they are under supernatural influence and feel they are acting of their own free will. If you fail, they realize that you were attempting to influence them supernaturally with your command.
Your command can be an order to take an immediate Action. You cannot order a target to "do nothing," and they are free to take other Actions as they fulfill your request. Your command cannot be obviously self-destructive. Commands may force a target to violate one of their Limits, and they will need to make a Trauma roll once the suggestion wears off.
