The overlapping muscle groups are most apparent in his hands, the joints crudely deformed from the constant muscle tension. Even purposefully relaxing a specific muscle group can result in sudden impacts or swings of force from the taught opposite-pulling muscle groups. It's almost like his muscles are spring loaded. He pulls back and takes traditional swings often because he likes the style, but it's just as easy to fling a rock like a trigger shrimp, straight on. It's not talent. It's barely aim. It's E=mc2, and intense force.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are engaged in combat with thrown weapons.
+2 dice to all rolls utilizing thrown weapons.
Possession of this Power grants the following Battle Scar: Swollen fingers, -3 dice to actions requiring fine finger dexterity. Some actions, like turning a key, picking up something small, or using a gun with a covered trigger are simply impossible or would take some time at best.

The gambler's eyes shoot open, the pupils spinning like a slot machine as his mind runs through every future that fate may have in store for him. What it lands on may terrify him to the core, or give him that extra will to ease his mind. Maybe he isn't as fucked as he thought he was.
Exert your Mind (unless you win a coin flip) to activate. You may only target yourself. Roll a single D10 as a critical failure check. If you roll a 1, the Effect fails, and you become overstressed and black out. Over the course of one Downtime, your patient must communicate with you and reveal at least one of their Traumas to you, including the details of those Traumas and the circumstances of how they were acquired. After the full treatment time has elapsed, roll Charisma + Influence at Difficulty 6.
Your target may Resist. If your treatment is successful, you may remove one of the patient's revealed Traumas without incurring any Experience cost.
Once per day per target, you may choose to use this Effect to stabilize the Mind of a target within arm's reach. Treatment takes 30 seconds but will not remove any Traumas. If you are successful, restore 2 Mind damage.
Minerva lets out a breath, closing her eyes for a moment. Her pendant glows, and then her eyes open. One paw in both worlds, she talks to someone in both. In the physical world she still can't understand them, but in the Dreamlands, she can understand them as one does.
The Dreamlands, as always, are somewhat inhospitable. Minerva leans on her pendant to help her make her way though.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. You must actively and obviously use silver fox pendant to activate this Effect. You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means.
You may understand and communicate to Creatures, humans, and Sapient beings as if you are fluent in a relevant language for the next hour.

Irynaโs skin begins to crack and pull apart as sickly, dangerous light is allowed to escape. Her essence, the source of her life and change is laid bare to the world and allowed to be free. Penetrating any wall or barrier and ignoring most armor as it flows out, wave after wave of toxic light.
Take a Severity-1 Injury and spend an Action. You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means. The area within 45 feet of you immediately and obviously becomes imminently dangerous. Anyone in the area has 1 Round to attempt to escape. For the next 3 Rounds following the initial blast, this Effect will deal a new blast of damage to any targets remaining within range of you. The damage decays by 2 each Round.
Anyone who takes damage from the blast is knocked back away from you by a distance equal to the radius. They must succeed a Body roll, Difficulty 9, or be stunned for 1 round.
You may only use this Effect once per day.
The memories of crackling flames, shrieks, mournful yowling and responding jeers build a swirling cacophony around Grace, sparking against the ground until they catch with ghostly flames. Once a target is chosen, the circle darts across to them and grows with the force of the attack. A mentally resilient target might be able to calm themselves and breathe enough to realize that the flames aren't real- and once they do that, the flames lose their power.
This memory comes easy. While the flames still bring some stress, the girls are used to using them to their advantage by now; the anger, in fact, has become part of the fuel to the fire.
Spend an Action. Select a target within 45 feet. Roll Intellect + Occult Difficulty 6. The target may contest by rolling Mind, Difficulty 6.
If the contested Outcome is positive, the target takes that much Damage plus 4. Armor is fully effective against this damage.
This Gift's Cost is capped at 2 and cannot be increased further.
The Vampire is able to turn one of their victims into a lesser vampire, a pale shadow of a full creature of the night but useful nonetheless. Having drained and killed their target, the Vampire performs a brief ritualistic bloodletting, wherein they spill their own blood into the target's mouth, forcing them to drink, and bonding them together as child and sire.
Shortly afterwards, the fledgling vampire will rise from death, hungry for blood and eager to serve.
Take a Severity-1 Injury and spend one minute. Select a Dead target within arm's reach that has died within the last hour. This Effect cannot be used unless you drained the target's blood while they were still alive.
Your target rises as an Animate being. The raised creature is totally mindless, with no memory of its past life or hint of its old personality. They cannot communicate. They will follow any command you speak.
The creature lasts until it dies again. It is revived at full health. Any Injuries it had in life are not accounted for when determining its penalties or progression towards re-death, though they may affect its ability to perform certain actions at GM's discretion. The raised creature must consume flesh every day or it will die again.

After you return, the Injury that would have killed you, as well as any Injuries sustained while Incapacitated, are healed. Battle scars obtained during this time remain.

Most severe injuries occur far from a facility that could treat them, and in the fetid muck of the battlefield even minor wounds may be a death sentence.
