JPM as a big Boss, around, is able to Boss-Around those that possess the capability of thought... even things that aren't people. JPM though has to be a boss, around, in order for them to keep workin', else they'll slack off and ditch the job.
Exert your Mind and spend at least one Action. Select a number of Sapient targets equal to your Charisma within 20 feet. Your target may be actively engaged in Combat. Communicate a command to your targets. Roll Charisma + Influence at Difficulty 6. The targets may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 7.
If the contested Outcome is positive, your targets will be compelled to follow your command to their best understanding of the letter and spirit of the command until they have completed it or for your Outcome in hours. You cannot issue another suggestion to the target until 10 minutes after they have completed the first command or 10 minutes after a failure.
They will be unaware that they are under any sort of compulsion until the effect wears off, but they will appear obviously mind-controlled the entire time to anyone observing them. If you fail, they realize that you were attempting to influence them supernaturally with your command.
Your command can be an order to take an immediate Action, a conditional request, and an abstract goal. You cannot order a target to "do nothing," and they are free to take other Actions as they fulfill your request. Your command cannot be obviously self-destructive. Commands may force a target to violate one of their Limits, and they will need to make a Trauma roll once the suggestion wears off.
This Effect ends if you are stunned, fall asleep, go unconscious, are incapacitated, die, or if your total Stress ever exceeds 5.
The user's hand vibrates loudly as all the speakers resonate with each other, creating an orb of sound that can be thrown, punched with or used to dodge. The participants see a slight curving of space when the sound is thrown at a target and the hear the speakers vibrate if they are close enough to it.

Spend an Action. Select a target within 45 feet. Roll Dexterity + Brawl Difficulty 6. The target may contest by rolling Body, Difficulty 6.
If the Contested Outcome is positive, the target takes that much Damage plus 4.
You may use this Effect to Defend against any melee, projectile, or firearm Attacks within range or Clash against any Attack targeted at you. Using it to Defend deals no Damage but does not cost Exertion.
This Gift's Cost is capped at 2 and cannot be increased further.
The Wizard Hat glows briefly and a tiny burst of highly compressed potent flame is launched from the user’s line of sight, bursting outward on contact.
The Wizard Hat exists to serve a single purpose: to grant magic unto those who possess none. It uses the raw imaginative and intellectual processing of its users brains and rapidly transforms that processing away from biological function and maintenance in favor of REAL, TANGIBLE MAGIC!!! The first of its ‘spells’, ‘Fireball’ is barely even a ball. It is more accurately described as a massively-wound string of compressed and potent fire. On contact with a target, it expands. Rapidly. Explosively. You had best stay out of the radius.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Location no further than 40 feet from you and in your line of sight. The area within 25 feet of the chosen Location immediately and obviously becomes imminently dangerous. Roll Intellect + Occult at Difficulty 6. Targets inside the radius may attempt an appropriate Reaction at GM’s discretion. Finding a physical barrier to use as cover will cut total Damage taken in half (applies after Reaction roll but before Armor).
If the Outcome is positive, your blast hits everything within 25 feet of the chosen Location with Damage equal to your Outcome + 4.
Damage spreads to targets beyond the edge of the initial radius, decreasing by 2 Damage for every 5 feet traveled.
Any flammable Objects within the radius during the blast will catch fire, and any being who takes at least 4 Damage will catch fire. Starting the Round after they caught fire, flaming targets take 2 Damage per Round until the fire is extinguished.
Bull, as an expert contractor, is able to fix most mundane objects with his trusty roll of duct tape.
Spend 10 minutes. Select a Object within arm's reach that is no larger than an SUV. Cannot be used on Alien technology. You must use up roll of duct tape in order to activate this Effect. More than half the target object must be present in order to begin repairs. Roll Dexterity + Crafts at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, your target is repaired back to a functional state. If you fail, you spend the full time working before realizing you cannot repair the target.
When Guppy stabs or sews into someone with this needle, the victim's body will begin to be replaced by plush and their innards replaced with stuffing. Effectively, this Injure power turns people into dolls. If someone is fully turned into a doll, they are dead.
Guppy was standing all alone in an alleyway. No, not alone. There was a man in front of him with a grim smile on his face. Guppy didn't know the man, but he was reaching his hand out to the child. In fear, Guppy took the small needle in his pocket and stabbed the man's hand. The man cried out as the arm began to shrink down, flesh turning to polyester, muscles and blood to stuffing. The man tries to run, but Guppy is the new holder of that grim smile. He stabs the man's leg, turning that into plush as well. The man falls over onto the concrete, screaming and begging for help and for the child to stop. Guppy happily obliged to stop the pain by pricking the needle into the man's neck. It only took a few more seconds before Guppy was out of the alleyway with a tiny little dinosaur doll in tow.
Spend an Action to activate. Select a Living target within arm's reach. You must actively and obviously use a sewing needle to activate this Effect. Roll Dexterity + Legerdemain Difficulty 6. The target may contest by rolling to Dodge or Defend as a Reaction, Difficulty 6.
If the contested Outcome is positive, the target takes that much damage plus 3. Armor is fully effective against this damage.
Injuries caused by this Effect do not heal naturally. They can be Stabilized, but will not reduce in Severity unless they are healed through an Effect or some sort of supernatural ability.
If the target takes damage from this Effect, they will receive at least a Minor Battle Scar regardless of the Severity of their Injury. The specifics of the scar are up to GM's discretion.
This Gift's Cost is capped at 2 and cannot be increased further.
Ellis can withdraw a bonded bomb and cause it to detonate in a specific way, assaulting the minds of anyone in the radius and driving them to repent for their sins.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. Choose a location within 300 feet. All Sapient targets within 300 feet within 20 feet of it are affected. You must use up an explosive which has undergone the Ritual of Bomb Bonding in order to activate this Effect. Affected targets may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 8. If they are incapacitated or unconscious, they fail automatically.
If they fail, affected targets will take 1 point of Mind damage and gain a Compulsion to punish themselves for sinful behavior as a Trauma. This trauma cannot be removed by spending Experience and undergoing mundane therapy. Affected targets are aware that they are being attacked and can generally tell who did it.
The Toon performs some sort of cartoonish act of violence. This may be handing someone a bomb, hitting someone with a cartoon mallet, burping a burp that is so noxious it melts flesh, or anything else as long as it is cartoonish.
The attack is more of a throwaway gag than a plot element, so any props or properties of the attack are incidental and disappear immediately. Animated mallets evaporate in a puff of smoke, fire does not spread, and electricity cannot power devices.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a target within 45 feet. Roll Charisma + Performance Difficulty 6. The target may contest by rolling to Dodge or Defend as a Reaction, Difficulty 6.
If the contested Outcome is positive, the target takes that much Damage plus 4. Armor is fully effective against this damage.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Dead target within arm's reach. Dead targets must have died within the past week, and you must have their remains in your possession.
The target can communicate in your language for the next hour.
The Doctor examines their patient and gives a standard medical checkup, asking them questions, nodding to themselves, and muttering arcane medical jargon. The examination reveals an extraordinary amount of detail about any medical issues suffered by the patient.
Spend one minute. Select a Sapient target or a Creature within arm's reach. You must actively converse with the individual in question for one minute in order to gather any information. At the end of your investigation, roll Perception + Medicine at Difficulty 6. The target may Resist.
You learn all the following information about your target:
The quality and specificity of information gained depends on your Outcome.
This Gift's Cost is capped at 2 and cannot be increased further.
The Scepter of Ang-Kapal is a gruesome device fashioned to look like a skeletal arm clutching a glass eye. When used, blood from the person holding is drawn into the eye where it swirls with dark energy. The eye turns to a nearby corpse and shudders, reviving the creature. The creature does not retain any of its memories or personality, but it is absolutely loyal to whoever is holding the scepter.
The Scepter of Ang Kepal has the unfortunate side effect of driving its owner mad.
Take a Severity-1 Injury and spend one minute. Select a Dead target within arm's reach with at least half its skeletal structure remaining. You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means.
Your target rises as an Animate being. The raised creature is totally mindless, with no memory of its past life or hint of its old personality. They cannot communicate. They will follow any command you speak.
The creature lasts for eight hours or until it dies again. It is revived at full health. Any Injuries it had in life are not accounted for when determining its penalties or progression towards re-death, though they may affect its ability to perform certain actions at GM's discretion.
Raised creatures have their Abilities set to the same that they were in life. Their Charisma and Intellect are set to 1, but their Dexterity, Brawn and Perception are the same as they had in life. A raised creature cannot use any Effects.
Destroying one of your zombies requires a called shot to the head or heart. All other Injuries zombies suffer result in Battle Scars only, limiting their mobility and effectiveness in other ways.
Your revived targets deal 2 Weapon Damage with their unarmed attacks.
The Thief examines an object closely for a minute to appraise its value. As their eyes dance across the subject, their pupils split vertically, and their irises fade to gold. If it is a particularly valuable item, the Thief may greedily lick their lips, revealing a forked tongue.
Within a minute, they have determined how materially valuable the object is and why.
Exert your Mind and spend a minute. Select a target Object within arm's reach. At the end of your investigation, roll Charisma + Culture at Difficulty 6.
You learn all the following information about your target:
