The power to place wards to monitor an area.
Used by Bryan Bosch, Created by Monday.
(During activation, it is clear you are placing or leaving something at the location. The ward can be detected with a roll and destroyed through mundane means. You must actively and obviously be using up folding paper.)

Bryan affixes a piece of carefully folded paper from himself to an object, with the patterned creases subtly folding and shifting to observe their environment. Thanks to Bryan's connection with the paper, he is then able to perceive through, review information from, and even channel his power through the note.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a target within 10 feet. This Effect cannot be used unless you are in your Amorphous Transformation. You must use up folding paper in order to activate this Effect.

You place a ward, which is fixed to a target Object that can be moved and repositioned. You can hear and see through the ward as though you were standing at its location. You may have at most 8 wards active at once.

The ward requires Concentration to monitor, though it will remain active until you deactivate it. It can be detected with a roll and destroyed through mundane means.

You may activate another Effect through one of your Wards as if you were standing at its location. The Ward is destroyed afterward.

Your Ward records all activity it observes, regardless of whether or not you are actively monitoring it. This recording can be played back and referenced later.

After you finish activating this Effect, you cannot move quicker than a walk (max 15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour. Exhaustion’s penalty and duration stacks with multiple activations.

You may only use this Effect once per day.

  • Your ward's recording is maintained even if your Ward is destroyed.
  • Exhaustion penalties and duration stack. If you activate this Effect or another Effect with Exhaustion, your penalty will worsen, and the duration is increased by one hour.
  • Any targets visible via your ward satisfy the line of sight requirement for targeted Effects.
  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
  • Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.

The art of illusions. To control the senses and manifest something that appears to be real, or to warp the world to create the facsimile of something real. What difference is there truly in such a act from creating? The answers lies in that it is only the degree to which one is able to enforce their will. In divinity, the power to do such becomes more evident every day, and now Leon's illusions are no longer merely as such so long as he is willing to commit his essence to it's creation. Though Leon can't help but ask as he becomes more in tune with this, is this truly what it feels to be divine? Because so much of this seems alien and not of himself.

  • Attempting to break any alterations with inappropriate tools may damage or destroy the tools at the GM's discretion.

Take a Severity-1 Injury and spend one minute. Select a Dead target within arm's reach that has died within the last hour. This Effect cannot be used unless you drained the target's blood while they were still alive.

Your target rises as an Animate being. The raised creature is totally mindless, with no memory of its past life or hint of its old personality. They cannot communicate. They will follow any command you speak.

The creature lasts until it dies again. It is revived at full health. Any Injuries it had in life are not accounted for when determining its penalties or progression towards re-death, though they may affect its ability to perform certain actions at GM's discretion. The raised creature must consume flesh every day or it will die again.

Raised creatures have their Abilities set to the same that they were in life. Their Charisma and Intellect are set to 1, but their Dexterity, Brawn and Perception are the same as they had in life. A raised creature cannot use any Effects.
