"Reaper" Assault Helmet "Target acquired."
The "Reaper" Assault Helmet is the signature piece of the Future Soldier's arsenal. It has a sleek, design and is made of a mysterious matte-metallic alloy. The wearer's face is exposed normally, but when a battle begins, a blue holographic visor flickers to life in front of the eyes. This HUD contains information about the soldier's ammunition and shield status, but more significantly can detect enemy combatants. Anyone nearby who is holding a weapon is painted with a red dot that follows them in real time. This allows the Future Soldier to fire at painted targets in the dark, detect ambushes lurking around corners, and grants an overall tactical advantage.
This Effect activates whenever combat begins. It does not require an Action or Exertion.
You automatically detect all people wielding weapons within 50 feet of you for the next minute. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby and their direction, and you have a clear sense of both the distance and direction towards any detected beings. This information is accurate enough to use for aiming at them, at +1 Difficulty.

Charlatans

Nowadays you can't go a day without some phony prophet trying to peddle their wares to you.
Driven by the increased interest in the supernatural, charlatans from palm readers to televangelists are everywhere. And while the vast majority of witches, psychics, magicians, hypnotists, cures, potions, faith healers, and clairvoyants are complete fakes, they do make a living.
As the saying goes, "it's easier for an actor to make it in alternative medicine than Hollywood."
Most people scoff at these clearly-phony supernatural services, yet those same people often buy into at least one scam.
The most dangerous charlatans are the self-styled monster hunters who carry a mall-ninja arsenal and guns with silver bullets. Most have never encountered anything supernatural and do absolutely nothing besides burn some sage and patrol the area for a night or two. Even so, those who are superstitious, fearful, or desperate enough will hire them to solve the problems they simply don't understand. In some cases with disastrous results.
For Contractors, charlatans are red herrings and obstacles. Clumsy fakes that conjure a smokescreen of misinformation and escalate the situations they're in.

Defense begins with awareness
This charm typically comes on a necklace or bracelet of some kind, potentially with other consumable rune charms. When an enemy approaches in an otherwise calm situation it becomes noticeably warm to the user, imbuing them with instinctive knowledge on their relative location. If one is feeling exceptionally threatened, one can trace the pattern of the rune for several seconds while chanting the words engraved on the reverse side of the charm (exact words may vary depending on who the charm was made for), channeling the energy within it to activate its full detection and reveal the locations of all enemies for the next hour. Overuse, however may strain the mind and lead to paranoid or unhinged thoughts patterns.

Exert your Mind and spend two Actions performing the following ritual: Trace the lines of the runic design while reciting the words inscribed on the reverse side of the charm. You must maintain Concentration while activating this Effect, and it fails if you are interrupted. You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means.
You automatically detect all beings who intend you harm within 300 feet of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby, as well as their distance and direction.
If no beings who intend you harm targets are within 300 feet of you, and then one enters range, you automatically detect it, even if this Effect is not active.
You may only use this Effect once per day.

Exert your Mind and spend two Actions performing the following ritual: He clasps his hands together intertwining his fingers saying, “Spin. ”. You must actively and obviously use Alcohol Bottle to activate this Effect. You must maintain Concentration while activating this Effect, and it fails if you are interrupted.
You automatically detect the closest of any Undead within 300 feet of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense their direction and distance.
If no Undead targets are within 300 feet of you, and then one enters range, you automatically detect it, even if this Effect is not active.
Even if there are no Undead within 300 feet of you, you become aware of the direction the closest one is in, as well as a rough sense of its distance from you.
If you're a cop you have to tell me
ACAB
He lights a cigarrete (or joint/pipe etc, blowing the smoke is the most integral part) and says "Fuck them pigs" or "ACAB" or some other cop-derrogetory term.
He'll then get an intuition of the nearest cop.
Exert your Mind and spend two Actions performing the following ritual: Consumes a mind effecting substance and says "Here piggy piggy". You must maintain Concentration while activating this Effect, and it fails if you are interrupted.
You automatically detect the closest of any Law Enforcement within 300 feet of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense their direction and distance.
If no Law Enforcement targets are within 300 feet of you, and then one enters range, you automatically detect it, even if this Effect is not active.

Exert your Mind and spend one minute. You must use up a 10 mile map of the surrounding area being Surveyed in order to activate this Effect. You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means. If you fail or Botch, you receive one Mind Damage and a new Trauma.
You automatically detect all alien creatures within 10 miles of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby, as well as their distance and direction.
Any alien creatures detected while this Effect is active are “marked”. You will continue to detect them until the Effect ends, no matter how far away they move. You will also continue to detect them after the Effect ends, so long as they remain within 10 miles of you.
You receive type/class of creature Fairy, dragon, Wendigo etc…. for each being you detect.
While this Effect is active, you are at -2 dice to all Actions and cannot Concentrate.
- This Effect does not satisfy the line of sight targeting requirement for other Effects.
Lifeform Detector
Coopercus pulls down this toy scouter from DBZ and scans the area like a submarine scan. Only he sees the results with a dot with the distance away and whether they're human or animal.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. You must actively and obviously use Walmart scouter to activate this Effect.
You automatically detect all Animal and Human within 300 feet of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby, as well as their distance and direction.
