From the three pulsating diodes in Jackie's head, a beam is formed. Unbending, and certainly unyielding the red pulsating beam melts flesh and bursts clothes into flames with mere contact. Although the effect is searing red hot pain, the beam looks like a regular almost laser pointer beam. Charred flesh and cooking meat fills the senses of anybody unfortunate enough to witness such a thing.
As customary for every field agent of X, Jackie has a form of self defense. His facial cybernetics mark him as a field agent, but also has a dual purpose. Unassuming, the cybernetics have a slight red glow to them, which can draw attention. upon activation, the pulsating and the glow mount until they lance forth, peaking in a triangular shape. From here, the lance is unleashed upon any fool who needs a reminder of the weakness of their flesh.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a target within 45 feet. You must actively and obviously use face cybernetics to activate this Effect. Roll Intellect + Technology Difficulty 6. The target may contest by rolling to Dodge or Defend as a Reaction, Difficulty 6.
If the contested Outcome is positive, the target takes that much Damage plus 4. Armor is fully effective against this damage.
You may use this Effect to Defend or Clash in Combat, including against ranged attacks such as firearms.
Valentine's arm or chosen body part turn into black tendrils and fills the locked item after chewing up some Big League Chew to have Darlin' be up to the task as the fluid moves into the locking mechanism and begins to twist and turn.
Spend an Action. Select a door, lock, or locked target within arm's reach. Cannot be used on Alien technology. You must use up Big League Chew in order to activate this Effect.
You may lock, unlock, and/or open your target.
The user begins to flow a faint black and white aura, with their target also gaining a similar aura. The target will then mimic the exact movements of the user to a T unless they resist the effects.
Spend an Action to activate. Select a target within 20 feet. This Effect cannot be used unless The target must make the Exact same movements as the user. This means that if the user attacks, the target does too. If the user moves, the target moves too (and breaks free automatically if the range is left). You must actively and obviously use A Theater Mask to activate this Effect. Roll Charisma + Performance at Difficulty 6. may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 7.
If you succeed, your target will be restricted at their location by an intangible, ethereal binding. They cannot move to a new location, and any physical actions they take suffer a dice penalty equal to twice the contested Outcome from the Effect activation, except attempts to escape or break the binding, which only suffer half this penalty.
Restricted targets may attempt to break the binding and escape by spending an Action and rolling Mind at Difficulty 7. Breaking free requires a total cumulative Outcome of twice the contested Outcome on the Effect activation.
You become fully restricted by this Effect, and are unable to resist it, though you may still attack or attempt to escape the binding as normal.
This Gift's Cost is capped at 2 and cannot be increased further.
Possession of this Power grants the following Battle Scar: The users eyes are permanently pure black. Not just the sclera but the users eyes are quite literally dark voids which no light can enter..
A golden lockpick that never breaks.

It happened so fast, a single prick - painless but firm was all it took before your body started going limp and mere seconds later you found your form clattering to the floor like a sack of meat, your muscles stiff, joints locked, drool slowly trickling down the side of your cheek as you struggle to move but it's no use, all the while you hear the sound of her heels drawing ever closer one pronounced, deliberate click at at a time.
"Sometimes it's necessary to take the target out of commission, and while killing comes naturally I... It's not always applicable to the job description, thus this little concoction comes into play, it does the job just fine for the time being but still need to work out a few kinks..."
Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. Select a Living target within 30 feet. This Effect cannot be used unless Must have direct line of sight on the target. You must use up Needle coated in paralytic agent. in order to activate this Effect. Roll Dexterity + Athletics at Difficulty 6. Affected targets may resist by rolling Body at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, your target becomes drowsy for the next 3 Rounds, during which time they suffer an additional -3 dice Penalty to all Actions. After this, they fall into a state of sleep paralysis for Outcome x 3 minutes. During this time, they remain fully conscious and aware of their surroundings but are incapable of taking any actions.
Affected targets will not prematurely wake up on their own, and can only be awoken by taking Damage or nearing death from hunger, thirst, or suffocation.
When an affected target wakes up, they remain drowsy for the next minute, and suffer a -3 dice penalty. If an affected target successfully resists being put to sleep, they will still become drowsy for the next minute, and will suffer the same penalty.
Dr. Laz stretches out his hand at a target and a cloud of what seem to be dust motes fly out toward them. Those with microscopic vision can see these nanobots for what they are. When they make contact, they enter through any available opening and begin administering sedatives and blocking nerve signals based on Laz's medical understanding of the target, causing the target to feel drowsy and sluggish eventually falling to a paralyzed state. Alternatively, Laz can order a massive neural assault, which will incapacitate immediately if successful.
Laz's greater understanding and control afforded by his research and his MMI has allowed him to refine delivery to individual guided motes, rather than a crude dart. This allows him to focus everything on shutting down his foes before they can do harm to those around him, as well as freeing him from the mental strain of maintaining the lock. The cost of this lesser concentration is that without the overdosing attempt, targets are effectively dosed with melatonin rather than sedative.
Spend an Action. Select a Living target within 30 feet. Roll Intellect + Medicine at Difficulty 6. Affected targets may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, your target becomes drowsy for the next 30 minutes, during which time they suffer an additional -2 dice Penalty to all Actions. At the end of their drowsiness, they fall into a state of sleep paralysis for Outcome x 3 minutes. During this time, they remain fully conscious and aware of their surroundings but are incapable of taking any actions.
Sleeping targets will not prematurely wake up on their own, but may still be woken up by sudden loud noises, being jarred or splashed with water, taking Damage, or similar rousing events. They will also awaken before dying of hunger, thirst, or suffocation. Drowsy targets always fall asleep, regardless of what happens while they are drowsy.
When activating this Effect you may attempt a knockout. If you do and your Contested Outcome exceeds 4, the target falls asleep immediately. Otherwise, they suffer the drowsy penalty for 2 Rounds.
When an affected target wakes up, they remain drowsy for the next minute, and suffer a -3 dice penalty. If an affected target successfully resists being put to sleep, they will still become drowsy for the next minute, and will suffer the same penalty.

The Toon performs some sort of cartoonish act of violence. This may be handing someone a bomb, hitting someone with a cartoon mallet, burping a burp that is so noxious it melts flesh, or anything else as long as it is cartoonish.
The attack is more of a throwaway gag than a plot element, so any props or properties of the attack are incidental and disappear immediately. Animated mallets evaporate in a puff of smoke, fire does not spread, and electricity cannot power devices.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a target within 45 feet. Roll Charisma + Performance Difficulty 6. The target may contest by rolling to Dodge or Defend as a Reaction, Difficulty 6.
If the contested Outcome is positive, the target takes that much Damage plus 4. Armor is fully effective against this damage.
The De-Neuralizer is a small silver device that can emanate a bright flash of light. Any being that looks into it with uncovered eyes has their most recent period of the their memory set into a highly over-writable state for a moment. While in this state, their memories may be overwritten at will.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Location within within arm's reach. All Sapient targets within 20 feet are affected. This Effect cannot be used unless the target is looking directly into the device with uncovered eyes. Roll Charisma + Influence at Difficulty 6. The target may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 7.
If the contested Outcome is positive, the most recent 1 hour from your target’s memory is either replaced with new memories or forgotten entirely. This is recorded as a Condition. The level of detail and completeness of the alteration depends on your Outcome. If you fail, the target realizes that you are attempting to alter their memories.
The period is chosen either by time (i.e. “last Friday night”) or by reference to a specific event (i.e. “when the murder occurred”).
The pyro points a laser pointer towards a target, and a cat-sized-and-shaped fire springs into life, very clearly attracted to the laser. This flame cat can also be shaped from existing fires. While the pointer is active it remains in the shape of a cat, pouncing towards the little red dot. When the laser pointer is not active, the flames return to normal.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a target within 20 feet which has both fuel and oxygen available (if you are starting a new fire). You must actively and obviously use a laser pointer to activate this Effect.
You may start a new fire as large as a torch's flame at your target. You may create fires the size of a lighter or candle flame without Exerting your Mind. Your fires require fuel and oxygen in order to continue burning.
Lighting a target on fire deals 2 Damage each Round on your turn, starting in the Round after the one in which they caught fire. This Damage is reduced by Armor, but the target’s Armor rating will be depleted by any Damage dealt, destroying the Armor once it reaches 0.
You may extinguish flames as a Reaction. This does not extend to explosives.
You may spend a Free Action on your initiative move a fire as large as a torch's flame that is within 20 feet to another location within 20 feet. You may Exert your Mind to draw a line which a fire up to twice as large as a torch's flame cannot cross.
The magician places a mirror to reflect a subject and conjures an illusion that perfectly replicates it!
If the illusion is touched, it shatters into a thousand tiny shards of glass.
Exert your Mind and spend two Actions performing the following ritual: place a mirror such that it reflects the subject of your illusion. Select a target within 45 feet. You must maintain Concentration while activating this Effect, and it fails if you are interrupted.
a reflection of something else in the area, which can be no larger than a person is generated at your target, and it will remain in place for the next minute or you choose to end it. It can be perceived by people through their sight. The illusion cannot be used as an attack. You may create a replica of a specific being or Object, though it is still limited by what you do or do not know about the subject.
Anyone who touches the illusion (or who would be able to perceive it significantly through a sense it cannot fool) realizes it is an illusion, and the entire effect will be ended for all targets.
The illusion will remain fixed to its initial target, and can only change locations if the initial target is mobile in some way. It may have moving parts and engage in simple, predetermined movements but cannot perform anything complex or interactive unless you maintain Concentration and “puppeteer” it.
The Necromancer may exert their will on any undead creature, forcing it to act as they desire. The Necromancer's eyes turn completely black, and they speak a command to the creature in the language of the dead.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a non-Sapient, Animate target within 20 feet. This Effect cannot be used unless the target is undead.
For the next day, you may issue specific commands to your target which they will be compelled to follow.
Your commands must be relatively simple and within the target’s intellectual grasp. You cannot make them obviously endanger themselves or violate their instinct for self-preservation. The effects of the command will fade after a day has passed.
Sapient targets can resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 6.
