SCP-9145

Item #: SCP-9145

Object class: Euclid Neutralized

Special Containment Procedures: As of 12/2/2019, SCP-9145 has been determined to have been neutralized following Incident 9145-19. No further containment efforts are deemed necessary at this time. Archived containment procedures have been included below.

Description: SCP-9145 was a gateway to an unknown planet believed to be somewhere in the milky way. The gateway was located in the rural outskirts of Guatemala.

Once entering SCP-9145, an individual would experience symptoms typical of long distance gateway travel. This included dizziness, ringing of the ears, bleeding of the gums and a long lasting nausea. The exit point led to an alien forest made up of large stationary autotrophic organisms.

Many of the autotrophs “native” to the planet shared no common ancestor beyond panspermia. Just on the exit point to the gateway, the canopy consisted of large narrow fungus like organisms found alongside turquoise and orange floral organisms.

The consumers of the exit point’s eco system shared similar properties, several lineages of fauna identified with no evolutionary link between them. Three groups similar to earthly vertebrates were found. One lineage had 6 limbs and a nervous system with 2 brain like structures capable of weak thaumaturgical abilities. Another had 4 limbs with calcium bones, sharing a common ancestor with earthly reptiles. Primary hypothesis is a sapient or greater alien race terraformed the planet of SCP-9145 and used the organisms from other planets to catalyse succession, further research required. The final group had 4 limbs, 2 vertebrate akin eyes and copper bones. Several instances of these organisms were collected from SCP-9145, a sapient race of ape like predators from the third group of proto-vertebrates classified as SCP-9145-A.

Incident 9145-19: 12/2/2019. The recovery of SCP-9145-A attracted the attention of SCP-9146 and site staff ordered for the destruction of SCP-9145. Several foundation personnel were left on the other side of SCP-9145.

Item #: SCP-9145-A

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-9145-A should be contained in cells fit for humans. SCP-9145-A are social, several instances should be housed together.

No weapons should be in the cell nor should SCP-9145-A have access to the internet nor information of Earth outside of the foundation.

The cell may have a one way window at the front of the cell to allow researchers to observe SCP-9145-A without being observed themselves.

SCP-9145-A may be provided with enrichment in the form of basic puzzles such as rubix cubes or jigsaw puzzles or toys or food rewards locked inside of puzzles. Perches and climbable surfaces should be provided.

Only under research procedures should personnel communicate with SCP-9145-A.

Should one or more instance of SCP-9145-A breach containment, a team of agents with tranquilisiers should sweep the site until they are recontained, and all personnel should be notified of the situation, be aware of their surroundings and report any activity or sightings of SCP-9145-A.

Instances of SCP-9145-A should never be allowed to encounter or contact SCP-9145-B.

SCP-9145-A should be fed a diet of neutralized small mammals and birds with no human additives.

Description: SCP-9145-A instances are nocturnal, hypercarnivorous organisms native to SCP-9145. Adults range in size from 3ft to 5ft tall and weigh an average of 11kg. SCP-1945-A has scaly reptilian skin, some instances possess manes or short coats of fur like fuzz along their necks and arms. They have 2 pairs of forward facing eyes and long jaw with teeth built for tearing. SCP-9145 are hermaphroditic and possess a large display crest on the top of their skull.

The forelimbs and hindlimbs of SCP-9145-A have identical appendices on the end of each limb for their arboreal lifestyle. On each “hand” are 3 finger like digits and 2 thumb like digits each with a sharp talon.

SCP-9145-A is sapient, having their own language and customs. Attempts at teaching SCP-9145-A human language have not worked due to a lack of cooperation with SCP-9145-A rather than a lack of ability. SCP-9145 is incredibly hostile and will attempt to attack any human they believe is in reach. Instances have an incredibly strong memory and hold grudges against site staff they believe to have “wronged them.”

SCP-9145-A are talented climbers and brachiate across structures similar to a gibbon or chimpanzee. When walking on the ground, SCP-9145 will swap between a bipedal walk swaying their forelimbs around like a gibbon or quadrupedally, walking on the knuckles of their forelimbs.

Item #: SCP-9145-B

Object Class: Thaumiel Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-9145-B should be contained in cells fit for humans. SCP-9145-B are social, several instances should be housed together.

No weapons should be in the cell nor should SCP-9145-B have access to the internet nor information of Earth outside of the foundation.

The cell may have a transparent window to allow researchers to observe SCP-9145-B without entering the cell.

SCP-9145-B may be provided with enrichment in the form of basic puzzles such as rubix cubes or jigsaw puzzles or toys or food rewards locked inside of puzzles. Perches and climbable surfaces should be provided.

Only under research procedures should personnel communicate with SCP-9145-B.

Should one or more instance of SCP-9145-B breach containment, a team of agents with tranquilisiers should sweep the site until they are recontained, and all personnel should be notified of the situation, be aware of their surroundings and report any activity or sightings of SCP-9145-B.

SCP-9145-B should be fed a diet of neutralized small mammals and birds with no human additives.

Description:  All instances of SCP-9145-B are collectively referred to as SCP-9145-B for simplicity.

SCP-9145-B are approximately 5 feet tall predatory lifeforms bred from SCP-9145-A. SCP-9145-B look identical to instances of SCP-9145-A except for that SCP-9145-B wear repurposed Class D personnel uniforms.

SCP-9145-B are hand reared by Foundation researchers and are fluent in english and generally cooperative with agents and researchers.

SCP-9145-B, like SCP-9145-A, are very capable at climbing using their long forelimbs and powerful grasping hands. When on the ground, SCP-9145-B switch between a quadrupedal knuckle walk and a bipedal stance with both arms splayed away from the torso.

SCP-9145-B show a level of sapience similar to humans. SCP-9145-B can use tools designed for humans including firearms and cutlery, recognise each other and familiar researchers, recall names and recognise themselves in a mirror. SCP-9145-B have a powerful memory and hold very strong grudges or affinities. They can recall research tasks they were asked to weeks or months ago.

SCP-9145-B are gullible and very trusting of staff, if it is revealed to them that they have been lied to by authority figures, SCP-9145-B will be very reluctant to cooperate with site staff again.

SCP-9145-B and SCP-9145-A have strong phobias of each other. The few SCP-9145-A instances that have met mature SCP-9145-B attempt to neutralise SCP-9145-B as soon as they are within reach. It is assumed that SCP-9145-B provoke an uncanny effect on SCP-9145-A.

SCP 9941: "Who You're Warned About"

Item #: SCP-9941

Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-9941 is difficult to contain due to the nature of it’s anomalous properties, SCP-9941, if captured by resident staff, must be brought to researcher’s immediately to begin a round of testing, opportunities such as this are rare and any disobey to this protocol is to be punished immediately.

The cell in which SCP-9941 was initially kept in is to remain in the same state, under containment SCP-9941 is to be allowed basic enrichment such as magazines or puzzles, but any wishes to meet with other SCP’s should be refused.

Description: SCP-9941, is a presumed caucasian male. However, this cannot be fully verified due to SCP-9941’s appearance, it harbour’s white almost translucent skin with light grey toned hair and equally pale eyes. Other than the obvious, SCP-9941 sports no outstanding characteristics, it is below average weight and can often be seen donned with a suit, denim overalls and strengthened goggles of an unknown origin.

SCP-9941 was initially spotted in the ██ district of ████ , sporting it’s usual wear and advertising the selling of candy and other sweet goods to both the older and younger population, several of which have since disappeared, SCP-9941 refuses to answer on any of these such individuals when enquired about.

The following interview was conducted by Dr. ███ following the initial spotting, and capture.

Interviewer: Dr. ███

Interviewee: SCP-9941

[BEGIN LOG]

SCP-9941: This room is rather white, have you considered painting it at all?

Dr: It’s an interrogation room, it’s meant to be white.

SCP-9941: I’m not wanted by the police you know, you have no right to arrest me.

SCP-9941: You don’t look like police.

Dr: We’re not, and we’re not here to ‘arrest you’ per se, we have some questions about your unpredictable abilities and on some missing people’s originating from ████.

SCP-9941: Is it that I need a permit to sell? I can get you one.

Dr: No, no. Do you recognise any of these individuals?

SCP-9941: I do not.

Dr: You sold them candy. Apparently.

SCP-9941: I don’t remember everyone I meet with.

Dr: Where did you come from, where is your home?

SCP-9941: I travel.

Dr: Evidently. So you are aware of your anomalies then?

SCP-9941: So this is what this is about, who are you people? Let me live in peace.

[END LOG]

Soon after the end of this log, SCP-9941 refused to answer further questions, later reviews of the log show heavier breathing from SCP-9941 upon seeing the photos of the disappeared victims.

Addendum: 9941-A

SCP-9941 was spotted approximately three weeks later in a small town located in ████ selling candy and other treats to the local children and teens, and reportedly a few adults. Soon afterwards, it should be noted around 80% of these ‘buyers’ were reported missing, SCP-9941 has not been captured or seen since.

Addendum 9941-B

SCP-9941 has been located and captured, found in the same original town in the same original district, it was brought into questioning for a follow-up interview.

Interviewer: Dr. ███

Interviewee: SCP-9941

[BEGIN LOG]

Dr: Hello again, I hope you are well.

SCP-9941: I do not like these interviews, and I do not like your cells, if you’d like to talk to me how about we do it somewhere a little more open and relaxing.

Dr: I’m afraid that’s against organisation protocol. Now, I have a question to ask you, please try to be upfront and maybe this interview can be as quick as possible for you. Are you teleporter, or do you possess qualities that allow you such rapid movement? Or is it something else altogether?

SCP-9941: For such a large organisation you seem rather stupid, no I do not teleport, not around your home here at the very least. Once again, I don’t like being interviewed, here, take this-a freebie-and leave me alone.

[END LOG]

SCP-9941-1: A small, brightly coloured sweet wrapped within plastic wrapping. SCP-9941-1 has undergone tests showing it to be made mostly of sugar and artificial flavouring. When ingested by a D-class personnel, the D class experienced saliviation, slow at first. He remarked upon the sweets flavour as being strawberry, and proceeded to throw up large amounts of saliva, no remains of food or anything else otherwise. Over the next few days, his situation worsened, and he began coughing up blood, pink and yellow bile of an unknown substance and finally the rest of his bodily fluids, leaving him a dry husk. No further tests were able to be made.

Addendum 9941-C:

SCP-9941 is believed to be a dimension shifter, of a similar kind to that of SCP-507, albeit with much more obvious control over where it travels to. It should be noted that the victims of the disappearances in it’s wake are usually from the ages of 7-18, but several adults have too gone missing.

1 year ago: ‘Caligura’ wrote a Contract Journal for SCP - 6284

A visit out on the town

For the first time in a while, I have seen the outside in person, strange. It was not the most welcoming of towns I must say but what more can I exactly expectfrom an organisation such as this.

Stranger yet, they paired me with two others, a 'Hoyt Mayo' and a 'Casey'. I say strange because when I was hostless, and even when I was with a body they would never let me interact with any others, other than the research staff of course. Hoyt seems to be a poor D-class, much like Caligura, I'm sure they'd get along with the circumstances they find themselves within. Casey, on the other hand, is a robot, but we should not be mentioning this to her.

The beast we were searching for all along was vampiric, sucking dry the bodily fluids of the townspeople, explaining the pile of corpses that so nicely greeted us. Jeremy and Steve came alongside, Steve unfortunately falling into the creatures grasp, what a fool, a shallow mind I see. The creatures was captured thanks to a mix of Casey's sheer strength, my toxic fluids and Hoyt's gun.

We were promised 'rewards' and usually whilst I would not care I-

personally I dont think you deserve it i know the cell is bad but it at least keeps you away from the rest of them-

Caligura is having some troubles, it baffles me he is even holding on personally. Anyway, as I was saying, they promised us rewards and whilst I usually would not care, I required a little nicety to my life, it's rather dismal at the moment. But of course, I personally require an interview with the doctor as usual. What a silly rule. Regardless, I'm sure I'll be able to convince him.

Foundation Earth

'Mankind in its present state has been around for a quarter of a million years, yet only a small fraction of that has been of any significance.

So, what did we do for nearly 250,000 years? We huddled in caves and around small fires, fearful of the things that we didn't understand. It was more than explaining why the sun came up, it was the mystery of enormous birds with heads of men and rocks that came to life. So we called them "gods" and "demons", begged them to spare us, and prayed for salvation.

In time, their numbers dwindled and ours rose. The world began to make more sense when there were fewer things to fear, yet the unexplained can never truly go away, as if the universe demands the absurd and impossible.

Mankind must not go back to hiding in fear. No one else will protect us, and we must stand up for ourselves.

While the rest of mankind dwells in the light, we must stand in the darkness to fight it, contain it, and shield it from the eyes of the public, so that others may live in a sane and normal world.

We Secure, We Contain, We Protect.'

House Rules

Contractors from Site 61-9 Are NOT portable, and may NOT visit other Playgroups to participate in Contracts.
  • Anomalous: All supernatural abilities must be the result of acquired or inherent anomalous properties, so abilites must fit solely within the given frame of a anomalous object.
  • Generally Extreme: The scope of the anomalous properties of many items in the catalog are unpredictable. GMs should be lenient on the mechanical limits of anomalous properties, and generally encourage the wildest shit imaginable. Due to this, all Gifts and Enhancements are available to all Contractors regardless of whether they are Newbie, Novice, Seasoned or Veteran. In addition, contractors may spend 4 gifts points for their first Gift received, and 2 for each improvement or gift received thereafter.
  • More Anomalous!: When utilising a Gift, once per Contract, Contractors may increase the Outcome of a roll by 2 and roll a d10, Difficulty 6. On a failure, their next roll has a -1 dice penalty.

SCP-6284: Hematophage

Item #: SCP-6284

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-6284 is to be contained within a standard humanoid containment chamber at Site-██-█-. The chamber must be equipped with fire suppression systems and UV light emitters to neutralize any potential outbreaks or escapes. The chamber must also be regularly inspected for any signs of wear or damage, and repairs or replacements should be made as necessary.

SCP-6284's pheromones are highly potent and can affect individuals from a significant distance away. As such, any personnel entering SCP-6284's chamber must wear specialized protective gear, including respiratory filters and full-body suits.

SCP-6284 is to be fed a diet of live prey animals, including mammals and birds, twice a day. Any uneaten prey should be promptly removed from SCP-6284's chamber and disposed of properly.

Description: SCP-6284 is a humanoid entity that stands approximately 2.1 meters tall and weighs roughly 150 kilograms. Its body is covered in a thin layer of pale, almost translucent skin, giving it a sickly appearance. SCP-6284's limbs are elongated and thin, with abnormally long fingers that end in sharp claws.

SCP-6284's face is angular and predatory in appearance, with glowing red eyes set deep within its skull. Its mouth is filled with rows of razor-sharp teeth, and its tongue is long and prehensile. SCP-6284's body is devoid of any discernible genitalia or reproductive organs, suggesting it is asexual and does not reproduce sexually.

SCP-6284 is known to emit pheromones that affect the behavior of human beings and certain animals. These pheromones are believed to be released through the entity's skin and saliva and can have a powerful effect on those who inhale or come into contact with them.

When exposed to SCP-6284's pheromones, human beings typically experience a range of symptoms, including heightened arousal, increased suggestibility, and a strong desire to please SCP-6284. Victims of SCP-6284's pheromones may also become more compliant and submissive, making them easier for the entity to manipulate or control.

SCP-6284 is highly aggressive and has been observed to attack and kill both animals and human beings. Its movements are described as unnaturally smooth and fluid, almost like it is gliding rather than walking. Despite its large size, SCP-6284 is surprisingly agile and able to move quickly when pursuing its prey.

Addendum: SCP-6284 was recovered from a remote town in ████████, where it had killed several civilians. The Foundation was alerted to the incident after reports of unusual behavior and disappearances in the area. After a brief investigation, SCP-6284 was located and contained without further incident. All surviving personnel were administered amnestics and released
