In the night, A Skeletal horse appears under David as he hops on, and they start galloping away.

You gain the following benefits at all times.

You can run at four times your normal movement speed.

  • Any Encumbrance penalty to your movement still applies, but you do not suffer from any sort of exhaustion.
  • Damage from a collision depends on your speed at the time, as well as what you hit. GM's discretion, but generally moving faster than a car on the freeway and hitting a dense, solid object like a wall or a tree should be lethal. Mundane armor will not apply, but any supernatural forms of protection will.

"It's the little things that so often remind us of who we truly are when we so foolishly lose our way, a cheap, seemingly meaningless gift, a kind word in the time of need - or a moment of heartfelt silence, a warm embrace when my very bones felt like ice - it can keep one sane, kept me from taking the wrong turn and ending up in a ditch like so many of the less fortunate already have."
